This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a cute Christmas ornament. As you know, ornaments are a must among my December creations to decorate those blank spaces or spaces that are already occupied but ready to be adorned and decorate the house with the magic of Christmas.
I usually decorate the ornaments with a snowman, but this time I felt like making a cute penguin, with its Christmas hat, a brick chimney background, and some extra snowflakes.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
Lo primero que hice fue tomar una hoja blanca y dibujar bocetos del diseño que queremos del pingüino o personaje navideño deseado. Como dije en el inicio, yo quise esta vez elaborar un pingüino, con su gorro y bufanda. Lastimosamente, me quedé sin foami escarchado negro y tuve que utilizar negro liso para el cuerpo, jaja. Pero bueno, al tener listo el diseño del pingüino que quería, transferí a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación.
✨Gorro: 6.5 cm x 2.5 cm en foami rojo.
✨Parte baja del gorro: 7.3 cm x 1.5 cm en foami blanco.
✨Pom pom: 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm en foami escarchado blanco.
✨Cabeza: 7.5 cm x 5 cm en foami escarchado negro.
✨Zona del rostro: 6.5 cm x 4 cm en foami blanco.
✨Nariz: 1.7 cm x 1.3 cm en foami amarillo.
✨Bufanda: 8.5 cm x 1.5 cm, 4 cm x 1.5 cm y 2.5 cm x 1.5 cm en foami rojo.
✨Cuerpo: 10 cm x 4 cm en foami negro.
✨Parte central del cuerpo: 6 cm x 4 cm en foami blanco.
✨STEP 1:
The first thing I did was take a blank sheet of paper and sketch out the design I wanted for the penguin or Christmas character I was making. As I mentioned at the beginning, this time I wanted to make a penguin, with its hat and scarf. Unfortunately, I ran out of black glitter foam and had to use plain black for the body, haha. But anyway, once I had the penguin design I wanted ready, I transferred it to the corresponding colors of foam, as I explain below.
✨Hat: 6.5 cm x 2.5 cm in red foam.
✨Bottom of the hat: 7.3 cm x 1.5 cm in white foam.
✨Pom-pom: 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm in white glitter foam.
✨Head: 7.5 cm x 5 cm in black glitter foam.
✨Face area: 6.5 cm x 4 cm in white foam.
✨Nose: 1.7 cm x 1.3 cm in yellow foam.
✨Scarf: 8.5 cm x 1.5 cm, 4 cm x 1.5 cm, and 2.5 cm x 1.5 cm in red foam.
✨Body: 10 cm x 4 cm in black foam.
✨Central part of the body: 6 cm x 4 cm in white foam.

✨PASO 2:
Al tener listas y recortadas todas las piezas del pingüino, es momento de dar color a los bordes con pinturas y marcadores. En mi caso, para las piezas de color rojo, utilicé pintura negra y, para las piezas en foami blanco, utilicé pintura marrón, al igual que para la nariz. Al estar secas las piezas, es momento de dar detalles más específicos con marcadores, como sería el caso de los ojos, dar detalles a la bufanda y a la parte baja del gorro.
✨STEP 2:
Once all the penguin pieces are cut out, it's time to color the edges with paints and markers. In my case, I used black paint for the red pieces and brown paint for the white foam pieces, as well as for the beak. Once the pieces are dry, it's time to add more specific details with markers, such as the eyes, details on the scarf, and the lower part of the hat.

✨PASO 3:
Ahora es momento de pegar las piezas para formar al pingüino, así que inicié pegando, como siempre, la cabeza con la zona del rostro, luego esta al cuerpo con la parte central del mismo, para luego pegar la nariz, el gorro y la bufanda justo donde se divide la cabeza y el cuerpo.
✨STEP 3:
Now it's time to glue the pieces together to form the penguin, so I started by gluing the head to the face area, as always. Then I glued the head to the body, attaching the central part of the face. Next, I glued the nose, hat, and scarf right where the head and body meet.

✨PASO 4:
Seguidamente, y ya casi para finalizar, recorté la base, que es un círculo de 13 cm de circunferencia en foami rojo, y dos copos de nieve de 4 cm en foami escarchado blanco. Le di color a los bordes de la base y dibujé con marcador un diseño tipo ladrillo. Luego, pegué al pingüino en medio, pinté copos de nieve en el gorro con pintura blanca y pegué los copos de nieve a los lados. Finalmente, recorté una cinta de 5 cm, doblé a la mitad y pegué en la parte trasera del colgante.
✨STEP 4:
Next, almost finished, I cut out the base, which is a 13 cm circle made of red foam, and two 4 cm snowflakes made of white glitter foam. I colored the edges of the base and drew a brick pattern on it with a marker. Then, I glued the penguin in the center, painted snowflakes on the hat with white paint, and glued the snowflakes to the sides. Finally, I cut a 5 cm ribbon, folded it in half, and glued it to the back of the pendant.

✨This is how you can make this pendant, with the same design or any design and character you like. Personally, I really liked the decoration. If you'd like, you can use larger measurements than I did, as I wanted mine to be small because it fit perfectly in the area where I wanted it.
