Realicé unos posa-vasos de ojo turco con retazos de tela y mostacillón. Lindos para cualquier ocasión y perfectos para absorber los líquidos.

Hello creative friends of the Hive DIY community, here I am back with another fun and useful project for the home.

I made some Turkish eye cup holders out of scraps of fabric and mustard. Cute for any occasion and perfect for soaking up liquids.

Materiales:

• Retazos de tela
• Hilos de coser de varios colores
• Silicón frío
• Aguja
• Fieltro
• Mostacillón.

• Sewing threads of various colors
• Cold silicone
• Needle
• Felt
• Mustachelon.
  
  

Vamos a realizar cuatro círculos azul marino que serán la base de nuestra costura.
Luego haremos cuatro círculos de color blanco, luego haremos dos de color rosado y dos de color azul rey, más pequeños que los blancos.

Para finalizar estos pasos vamos a cortar cuatro círculos más pequeños que los anteriores de color negro, que será nuestro centro.

We are going to make four navy blue circles that will be the base of our stitching.
Then we will make four white circles, then we will make two pink circles and two royal blue circles.

To finish these steps we will cut four smaller circles than the previous ones in black, which will be our center.

Vamos a colocar un poco de silicón frío en el borde de nuestro círculo blanco, y lo vamos a pegar en el centro del círculo azul, esto para que no se ruede mientras lo cosemos y quede más asegurado.

Procederemos a coser todo el borde con hilo en costura sencilla.

We are going to put some cold silicone on the edge of our white circle, and we are going to stick it in the center of the blue circle, so that it doesn't roll while we sew it and it will be more secure.

We will proceed to sew the entire edge with thread in simple stitching.

Ahora vamos a realizar el mismo procedimiento con el círculo rosado.
Pegamos y cosemos todo el borde.

Now we are going to perform the same procedure with the pink circle.
We glue and sew all around the edge.

Repetimos el procedimiento con el círculo pequeño en color negro.

Repeat the procedure with the small black circle.

Así vamos a realizar el procedimiento en los otros tres círculos, para crear los ojos turcos.
Puedes combinarlos como quieras y usar los hilos en el color de tu preferencia. Como siempre comento yo trato de trabajar con lo que tengo en casa para no generar gastos extras.

We are going to perform the procedure in the other three circles, to create the Turkish eyes.
You can combine them as you like and use the threads in the color of your preference. As I always say, I try to work with what I have at home so as not to generate extra expenses.

Paso a pasito ya tenemos nuestros cuatro ojos turcos bordados en nuestros posa-vasos.

Step by step we already have our four Turkish eyes embroidered on our cup holders.

Ahora vamos a pegar todos nuestros ojos en un trozo de fieltro. Esto nos dará firmeza y también nos aporta mayor absorción si de líquidos se trata.
Este fieltro que yo tengo tiene unos destellos de brillitos que dejaré en la parte exterior para que me puedan servir incluso para usar reversibles.

Los pegaremos por el borde con silicón frío.

Now we are going to glue all our eyes on a piece of felt. This will give us firmness and will also give us more absorption if we are talking about liquids.
This felt that I have has some glitter sparkles that I will leave on the outside so that I can even use reversible ones.

We will glue them around the edge with cold silicone.

Cuando ya están bien pegados, vamos a recortar por el bordo con mucho cuidado.

When they are well glued, we are going to cut out the edge very carefully.

Podrías dejarlo hasta aquí y tendrías uno lindos posa-vasos, pero corremos el riesgo que con el uso y la humedad comiencen a abrirse, así que vamos a asegurarlos con otra costura.
Bordaremos por el borde unos mostacillones.

You could leave it up to here and you would have a nice cup holder, but we run the risk that with use and humidity they will start to open up, so we are going to secure them with another seam.
We'll embroider some beads around the edge.

Cuando ya los tenemos todos bordados, obtenemos unos bellos posa-vasos realizados a mano con materiales que tenemos en casa y muy lindos para decorar nuestras reuniones y proteger nuestras mesitas de madera.

Once we have them all embroidered, we obtain beautiful handmade cup holders made with materials we have at home and very nice to decorate our meetings and protect our wooden tables.
