UNA PIÑATA DIFERENTE. Piñata de pozo de los deseos

Tuve la oportunidad de hacer una piñata diferente, Un Pozo de los Deseos!!

En el momento que me hicieron el encargo me entro un poco de preocupación, aunque es una forma bastante básica, nunca había hecho algo parecido.

Sin embargo ya me habían pagado y ya estaba montada en el autobús, tenía que hacerla y quiero compartir con ustedes como fue el proceso.

I had the opportunity to make a different kind of piñata, a Wishing Well!

The moment I got the order I was a little worried, even though it is a pretty basic shape, I had never done anything like this before.

However, I had already been paid and was already on the bus, I had to make it and I want to share with you how the process went.

Lo primero fue realizar un cilindro de cartón, para esto recortamos un rectángulo de 1mt de largo y 60 cm de alto; en este rectángulo marcamos en los extremos superior e inferior una pestaña de 1cm a todo lo largo del mismo.

The first thing was to make a cardboard cylinder, for this we cut a rectangle of 1mt long and 60 cm high; in this rectangle we marked at the top and bottom ends a 1cm flange along the entire length of it.

Recortamos dos círculos de cartón y comenzamos a pegar las pestañas del rectángulo, alrededor de cada círculo.

Como se trata de una piñata, decidí reforzarlo bastante en la parte interna para que no la rompan tan fácil.

We cut out two cardboard circles and started gluing the tabs of the rectangle around each circle.

Since this is a piñata, I decided to reinforce it quite a bit on the inside so that it won't break so easily.

Una vez armado nuestro cilindro, lo coloque sobre una base de cartón duro que será el piso del pozo.

Para realizar los troncos, utilice 3 tubos de cartón, y los pegue bien a cado lado del pozo y arriba.

Once our cylinder is assembled, place it on a hard cardboard base that will be the floor of the well.

To make the trunks, use 3 cardboard tubes, and glue them well on each side of the well and above in the form of an arch.

Finalmente lo forre todo con papel, agua y pega para que todo se vea unificado y también tenga un refuerzo extra

Finally, line it all with paper, water and glue so that everything looks unified and also has an extra reinforcement.

Luego de dejarla secar por 24horas. Comenzamos con la decoración.

En este punto solo debes dejar volar la imaginación. Particularmente está clienta solicitó que se viera un poco realista y con muchas flores y mariposas.

After letting it dry for 24 hours. We start with the decoration.

At this point you just have to let your imagination run wild. Particularly this client asked for it to look a little realistic and with lots of flowers and butterflies.
