in Hive Diy15 days ago

Virtual greetings everyone

How are you all doing this week? I hope you all are doing good and you all had a peaceful weekend. I am very happy to me here to here with goys just to share about how i recoil my church 4 in 1 speaker that we are using for playing bass. This was very sad that all the 4 speakers burn at the same time and i was not happy about it at all.

The reason for the burn of all the four speaker, capacity in our mixer burn and it pass direct current to the speakers and that is how we lost the four speakers. This happen on Saturday, for us to see speaker to use on Sunday i have to get to market and get a new coil because the money to use and rent the speaker is the same to work the speaker. We only rented a mixer to use since it was not possible to work it that same Saturday.

In this post i will learn you guy's how to recoil speakers in a very simple steps.

Material used

  • 3 minutes gum
  • voice coil
  • upholstery gum
  • fuel etc.

Since this is a old speaker the only thing that need to be change is the coil, so with those material you can work the speaker successful.

To get the work done, you need to remove the voice coil, suspension, dust cap, diaphragm.
I start by removing first the dust cap to have access to the old coin and to remove it simple, apply fuel round the gum area and it will be removed freely with stress.

I then pull out the coil from suspension and here is the old coin.

You can see the coin has been burn completely. So i then proceed to remove the diaphragm and the suspension by applying fuel to the gum area and it was removed simple.

I then use paper to clean the space for the coil just to remove anything that may be left inside they.

I then proceed to set the new coil to the diaphragm.

I then apply gum on the speaker frame, diaphragm and the suspension.

I then place paper round the coil cap before inspecting it just to make it round and the gum the suspension and the diaphragm.

I then apply a four minutes gum round the coil area so that the coin will remain stable when used.

I then pass a wire and then connect the coil.

I then apply gum round the dust cap and were it will be gum to.

Finally i gum the dust cap and the speaker is back to life.

It play very clear when we use it and pastor was proud of me for the good work weldone.
I am happy i was able to deliver the work and if i was to pay someone outside to do for me the price will be high and my not take time to do just like i did.

I hope this post was helpful to you and you have learned from me.
