Handmade Air Dry Clay Magnet List & Notes

Copy of Copy of Your paragraph text.gif

Hello, how are you? I used to have a whiteboard to list down all the things I was going to do that day, but to my surprise, I don’t know where I put those.

I was supposed to buy another one, but you know, I saw something that caught my eyes and I was like, you know what, I just make it myself LOL.

I have a lot of air-dry clay stocks, so yeah, I like to challenge myself. So I saw this post from Pinterest, made a to-do list, and it is designed like a paper, which looks good, and now I am free. “I want it make it” LOL.

Materials I Used:

$1

  • Air Dry Clay
  • Acrylic Rolling Pin
  • X acto Knife
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Cutting Blade
  • Water Spray
  • Sponge
  • Silicone Mat
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Brush
  • Cutting Mat
  • Water Bottle
  • UV Resin
  • Disposable Gloves
  • Mask
  • UV Lamp
  • Magnets
  • Strong Double sides tape

Craft Time!

I first condition the air-dry clay by spraying a little water on my hands and then kneading it until it is soft enough to work with.

3.JPG

4.JPG

And then I lay down two popsicles as my reference on how thick the air dry I wanted to be, and then I use acrylic rolling pin to flatten the air dry clay.

6.JPG

7.JPG

And then using the cutting blade I have, I cut it to the size I wanted. This makes it easier to cut clean the air-dry clay.

9.JPG

10.JPG

Using the thickness of the X-Acto knife, I wrap the air-dry clay around it this place where I put the pen I am going to use.

12.JPG

13.JPG

To achieve the rip effect of the paper, I use this piping tip to make a hole.

14.JPG

15.JPG

And then I use x acto knife to cut the ripped paper, and this is what it looks like.

16.JPG

17.JPG

After that, I use a sponge and a water spray bottle to smooth the air-dry clay.

18.JPG

19.JPG

And then I put the air-dry clay on the silicone mat and let it dry for days.

21.JPG

22.JPG

Now that the air-dry clay is completely dried I am going to paint it using acrylic paint.

25.JPG

26.JPG

First, I layer it with white acrylic paint. I just painted the front part. I think I layered it three times.

27.JPG

28.JPG

Let it dry completely before proceeding to the next paint.

29.JPG

30.JPG

After that, I am going to use this red acrylic paint to draw the line just like the paper looks.

32.JPG

33.JPG

It is okay if it's not perfect as long as I achieve the line LOL.

35.JPG

36.JPG

And then I paint the blue lines, which makes my hand tremble while painting them.

38.JPG

39.JPG

And then I added the list and notes using black acrylic paint.

40.JPG

41.JPG

And it is time to add the UV Resin. For this part, I am going to use UV Resin, a brush, gloves, a mask, UV Lamp.

44.JPG

45.JPG

I pour enough UV Resin onto the air-dry clay, and then I use paint brush to equally apply the UV Resin.

48.JPG

49.JPG

And I cure it under a UV Lamp until it is no longer sticky.

50.JPG

51.JPG

And then I glue the magnets behind the air-dry clay using UV Resin.

52.JPG

53.JPG

And then I added strong double-sided tape on the wall, and then I stuck 3 magnets on, and then put the paper magnet list and notes, and done!

56.JPG

Now I have a list and notes magnet whenever I need it!

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
Please take care of your mental health as well.
