[ESP-ENG] ✨💖 DIY: Handmade Gift Cards 🎁🌷

Hola hola comunidad 💕, los meses de Noviembre y Diciembre definitivamente son los de mayor celebración, no solo nos encontramos a vísperas de mi época favorita del año: Navidad, sino que también son fechas comúnmente usadas para matrimonios, tal es el caso de dos amigas de mi hermana (bueno hay una que también es mi amiga), cuyas bodas son ésta y la próxima semana, así que para hacer de sus regalos un detalle más lindo, yo decidí hacerles unas tarjetas a mano donde se dejara un pequeño mensaje para las novias 💖, y justamente eso es lo que les vengo a compartir el día de hoy.

Hello hello community 💕, November and December are definitely the most festive months of the year. Not only are we approaching my favourite time of year, Christmas, but these months are also popular for weddings. This is the case for two of my sister's friends (well, one of them is also my friend), whose weddings are this week and next week. To make their gifts even more special, I decided to make them some handmade cards with a little message for the brides 💖, and that is exactly what I am here to share with you today.

Lo primero con lo que empecé fue haciendo el rectángulo que sería la tarjeta, en éste caso fue de 12cm de ancho x 9cm de largo, dentro de éste rectángulo delimité donde quería que estuviesen los dibujos, que en éste caso serían flores, y también donde iría el nombre de la novia y el escrito.

The first thing I did was make the rectangle that would become the card, in this case 12 cm wide by 9 cm long. Inside this rectangle, I marked out where I wanted the drawings to go, which in this case would be flowers, and also where the bride's name and the writing would go.

Luego de ésto hice el boceto de las flores y en la parte de arriba dibujé unas hojitas, en éste caso mi hermana quería que ésta tarjeta llevara un versículo, así que ella lo buscó y yo lo escribí de forma sencilla. Una vez el boceto estaba listo empecé a colorear con los marcadores.

After that, I sketched the flowers and drew some leaves at the top. In this case, my sister wanted this card to have a verse, so she looked for one and I wrote it down in a simple way. Once the sketch was ready, I started colouring with markers.

Lo último que hice fue remarcar todo con mi lapicero de tinta negra, y cuando éste se secó por completo borré las líneas del boceto y corté las tarjetas. Ambas tarjetas llevaron dibujos de flores solo que en la segunda sólo escribí un mensaje lindo y ya, porque ésta tarjeta iba de parte de las dos.

The last thing I did was highlight everything with my black ink pen, and when it was completely dry, I erased the sketch lines and cut out the cards. Both cards had flower drawings, but on the second one I just wrote a nice message, because this card was from both of us.
