Give candy in Christmas candles

in Hive Diyyesterday

Good evening, everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season. I want to share with you a beautiful candle that you can use to give candy to that special someone this Christmas.

Materials I used:
-Foam
-Scissors
-Silicone
-Plastic cutouts

Here are the steps to follow:
To start making our candle, we must begin with the body of the candle. To do this, we will make a cylinder-like shape. For this, I used light blue foam. Cut out a rectangle 15 centimeters wide and 9 centimeters high. Then, in the center, continue cutting out a piece so that you can see the gift from the outside in. To prevent the details from falling out, continue by gluing a piece of clear plastic from a soda bottle to the back so that the details inside can be seen without falling out. Then, to finish, continue adding silicone around the entire edge and continue gluing edge to edge until the shape forms a cylinder.

Next, we will continue cutting out the other pieces we will use to decorate and finish forming the candle. First, we will cut a shape out of the white foam that resembles a melting candle.

Then, we will continue cutting out the pieces to form the candle wick. I cut out three shapes that resemble fire: one yellow, one red, and one light yellow.

Next, continue cutting out two Christmas leaves and a frosty red circle to make it stand out and decorate it better.

Finally, continue cutting out a base for our candle so that the details inside don't fall out. I cut it out in the shape of a cloud or flower. In the center, I made an X-shaped cut so that the gifts to be given can be inserted there.

Once we have all the pieces to form our Christmas candle, we will continue by first gluing the top of the candle, which is similar to what melts when it is lit, and the base. then we will glue the wick of our candle in the center, followed by the leaves and Christmas circle, thus completing our creation. Finally, we take the candies (which is what I will be giving in my case) and insert them into our gift.

This is the final result of my beautiful Christmas-themed candy jar. I hope you like it and that it motivates each and every one of you.
