Hello everyone, this my second article in Hive, this article is going to be a little different, because I'm going to talk about my day as a college student, so enjoy ππ.
I am a university student majoring in automotive engineering, I still haven't got my university degree yet... But it's on the way πͺ
So during my college and every day I spend inside my university, I become more knowledgeable about things I previously didn't know.
Yes, as I told you every day, I gain new and wondrous information. That's why let me tell you what I've gain last year during a student gathering that brought together the various disciplines in my university, which aimed at exchanging knowledge and experiences among students...
π·SO OUR THEME FOR TODAY IS TAXIDERMY !!!
Someone might ask me, and what is Taxidermy ?? And what's the point of it ??
Don't worry, my friend, let me explain to you step by step, Taxidermy is a process performed by an expert (detective man) on an animal that died not long ago. The main objective of this process or experiment is to keep the animal's body as long as possible for future study or possibly display it inside a museum (Its shape varies according to the animal...)
Someone else might ask me !!! wonder. And what is the benefit of studying a dead animal? I think it's stupid? Who cares, he's dead and he's done!!!
No, my friend, this is not stupidity, it is a science that enables us to study the environment in which we live, and the other organisms around us, to know how to deal with it and live with it in the future.
π·CAN YOU EXPLAIN TO US HOW THIS PROCESS IS DONE? IS IT NEW IN OUR TIME?
Let me answer you, brother, but I'm going to answer first about whether the science of mummified animals or (Taxidermy) is new or old? The science of mummification is not modern, but it was found in the ancient Egyptians (Pharaohs) about 4,000 years ago. Speaking of the Pharaohs, they were renowned for their prowess and development in medicine, allowing them to discover ways to preserve the bodies of their kings for thousands of years, believing that they would reestablish a new life. So we can therefore say that mummification is a very old science, not a new.

As for my answer to your first question, **what is the method or the principle of mummification ?? **
Frankly, despite the strange development we have reached in our time, our scientists have not been able to know the mystery of the great mummification of the Pharaohs. But on the other hand, they were able to discover an effective way to mummified animals (Taxidermy), not humans. In fact, these are two ways:
The first method is rather old in which salt and cloves are used, while the second method, which is modern, is used with formalin.
π·THE IMPORTANCE OF TAXIDERMY:
The importance of Taxidermy is evident in the preservation of the bodies of some endangered breeds, so that today's human being can conduct his experiments with comfort and freedom. These mummified animals are also placed in several museums for public display.
Like that
π·IS THERE A SPECIFIC SPECIES THAT'S EMBALMED OR ARE ALL ANIMALS EMBALMED??
Mostly vertebrates are embalmed such as:
βͺMAMMALS
You can see several types of mammals like this fox:
lovely rabbit:
And also this old dog:
βͺREPTILES
For reptiles, we see this snake inside a box containing formalin.
βͺOVUELES
As for the ovules, we have this turtle and its hedgehog friend π:
βͺINSECTS
Here we see insects of all kinds, shapes and colors most of the insects are inside these glass boxes, and each insect has its own small identification card π
βͺBUTERFLIES
Let's finish with something beautiful like: butterflies look how beautiful and diverse, it is really amazing πΊ.
In the end, I hope that this article and this photos impressed you, just like I did, so I wanted you to have a simple experience with me. πΈ
see you later
Woah you've put some effort into posting this!
It's hard to look at these dead animals, it's just too emotional for me..., but it's amazing that this can help those which are still alive in many eays!
Also welcome to the hive, I hope we can grow together!
I'm so sorry for your feeling but it was dead before they do all that π.
Thank you so much π
No worries, my feelings are my own fault, you haven't done anything bad to them... Hope you have a great day!
