En esta ocasión les quiero compartir una falda que elabore hace unas semanas y debo aclarar que 🚫 no soy experta en la costura, he recreado muchas prendas solo por inspiración y aplicando mis propios métodos como en esta ocasión.

This time I want to share with you a skirt that I made a few weeks ago and I must clarify that 🚫 I am not an expert in sewing, I have recreated many garments just for inspiration and applying my own methods as in this occasion.

Les cuento que para realizar esta bellísima y elegante falda utilice:
✅ 2 metros de tela terciopelo Deluxe
✅ Y los demás implementos básicos de la costura:
Hilo, tijera, máquina de coser.
Esta vez utilicé una falda que me sirvió de clon para recrear este nuevo diseño por decirlo así, ya que esta me queda perfecta y así quería el resultado de esta nueva prenda.
To make this beautiful and elegant skirt, I used:

Lo primero que hice fue doblar mi tela en 4 partes para realizar un corte al sesgo, y asegurarnos de obtener un círculo perfecto.
Una vez listo vamos a cortar en la punta la medida de nuestra cintura, en este caso yo me guíe por la falda que está sirviéndome de molde para cortar la parte de la cintura.
También vamos a cortar una tira de 10 centímetros de ancho por el mismo largo que utilizaron para la abertura de la cintura de la falda, esta tira la vamos a utilizar para hacer la pretina de la falda.
The first thing I did was to fold my fabric in 4 parts to make a bias cut, and make sure to get a perfect circle.
Once ready we are going to cut in the tip the measure of our waist, in this case I was guided by the skirt that is serving me as a mold to cut the waist part.
We are also going to cut a strip of 10 centimeters wide by the same length that was used for the waist opening of the skirt, this strip we are going to use to make the waistband of the skirt.

Vamos a unir la pretina junto a la base o la abertura de la falda, abertura que debe de encajar muy bien con nuestra cintura, está tela es muy versátil de utilizar les comento que es bastante elástica así que yo tuve que hacer un pequeño ajuste en la parte de la cinturilla porque sentía que me quedaba un poco floja.
Una vez unido todo muy bien, hacemos un pequeño dobladillo por todo el contorno de la falda, yo la realicé de 1 centímetro por todo el diámetro de la falda.
Así de fácil obtenemos este modelo de falda circular muy rápido, les repito que no soy costurera, simplemente hago estás cosas por simple gusto y porque me gusta experimentar de vez en cuando además siento que cuando realizas tu propia ropa añades como un toque extra de gracia, para ser la primera falda que hago estoy muy satisfecha.

Once everything is joined very well, we make a small hem all around the skirt, I made a hem of 1 centimeter around the diameter of the skirt.
I repeat that I am not a seamstress, I just do these things for simple pleasure and because I like to experiment from time to time and I also feel that when you make your own clothes you add an extra touch of grace, for being the first skirt I make I am very satisfied.
