DIY Papercraft Bear Low Poly Head

in Hive Diy2 years ago (edited)

Hello Hive,

I’m Sergio an interior and graphic designer and today I wanted to show you something easy to make and very entertaining.

This Low poly Bear head is handcrafted. I downloaded a template from Etsy and printed all pages in cardboard.

We cut all the pieces with a cutter and a metal ruler.

For the folds we use the metal ruler to create more accentuated and straight folds

To join the pieces we used a glue stick, which we applied to the eyelashes. At first it's somewhat confusing but as the piece is formed it ends up being easier.

Finally, here you can see the final result, we got about 3 or 4 hours between me and a friend

Now we are traying to make it with stainless inox… but we still need to perfect the folding of the edges 😄💪🏼

Thanks for watching!!
Sergio.

Hola @epiko 👋 muy buen trabajo, me encantó!!!😊

Hola!! Me alegro de que te haya gustado ☺️

Awesome work! Is it countes origami?

Hi, thanks for your response! I understand that origami is made only from the folding of the paper, in this case you cut flaps that you have to stick with glue, so I would say that it is not exactly origami
