Hoy de nuevo con ustedes compartiendo desde #Inleo en ésta hermosa colmena de #HiveDiy; compartiendo un florero modelado en arcilla.

Today again with you sharing from #Inleo in this beautiful #HiveDiy hive; sharing a vase modeled in clay.

La arcilla.

Es un material natural que se puede encontrar en la superficie de la tierra y en la orilla de los ríos, lagos y lagunas, en los suelos de las laderas o cerros. También la podemos adquirir en las ferretería es más fácil porque ya viene tratada y limpia.

The clay.

It is a natural material that can be found on the surface of the earth and on the shores of rivers, lakes and lagoons, in the soils of slopes or hills. We can also purchase it at hardware stores, it is easier because it is already treated and clean.

Realizar trabajos en arcilla es algo que me fascina hacer desde que era una niña. Hacía los trabajos manuales para la escuela con éste material. Así fue pasando el tiempo hasta que conocí a una señora que trabajaba muy bonita la arcilla utilitaria fue en ese entonces que yo empecé a modelar diferentes piezas y tener técnicas para mejorar mi trabajo y para que quedarán muy bonitas. Aprendí hacer diferentes piezas utilitarias como; tinajas, ollas, budares, floreros, jarras y muchas más.

Doing clay work is something that I have been fascinated with doing since I was a little girl. I did manual work for school with this material. So time went by until I met a lady who worked very beautifully with utilitarian clay. It was then that I began to model different pieces and have techniques to improve my work and so that they would be very beautiful. I learned to make different utilitarian pieces such as; jars, pots, budars, vases, jugs and many more.

Ahora conseguí una arcilla muy buena, suave y facil de modelar aquí stoy dedicando mi tiempo libre para hacer más piezas. Que luego se las iré mostrando.

Now I got a very good clay, soft and easy to model, here I am dedicating my free time to making more pieces. That later I will show them to you.

También me gusta elaborar trabajos ornamentales y decorativas como; muñecas, móviles, fachadas entre otros.
Ahora que tengo la posibilidad de tener esta arcilla muy buena y moldeable deseo también elaborar algunos trabajos ornamentales.

I also like to make ornamental and decorative works such as; dolls, mobiles, facades among others. Now that I have the possibility of having this very good and moldable clay I also want to make some ornamental works.

Materiales.

✓ Arcilla
✓ Un pedazo de tela gruesa de jean,.o de paño.
✓ Agua con arcilla.
✓ Un pincel, un cuchillo, un palito.
✓ Un tubo delgado de metal para bruñir.

Materials.

✓ Clay.
✓ A piece of thick denim or cloth.
✓ Water with clay. ✓ A brush, a knife, a stick.
✓ A thin metal tube for honing.

Ahora con el paso a pasos para realizar el florero.

Now with the step by step to make the vase.

1 ) Se coloca el arcilla sobre un paño viejo o un trozo de tela gruesa y sobre esa tela se amasa y se golpeas varías veces para sacarle el aire a la arcilla que tiene por dentro.

1 ) The clay is placed on an old cloth or a piece of thick cloth and on that cloth it is kneaded and hit several times to remove the air from the clay inside.

2 ) Luego agarré una cantidad de arcilla después de sacarle el aire y inicié a modelar la parte de abajo del florero dándole vueltas con la manos.

2 ) Then I grabbed a quantity of clay after removing the air from it and began to model the bottom part of the vase by turning it with my hands.

3 ) Después seguí adelgazando hasta que quede bien delgada, después le realicé la parte de arriba del florero y luego a tratar de unirlo. Primero le corté por las orillas le coloqué pega de arcilla y los uni bien pasándole un cordón de la misma arcilla y lo fuí alisando con la mano.

3 ) Then I continued thinning until it was very thin, then I made the top part of the vase and then tried to join it. First I cut it along the edges, I put clay glue on it and I joined them well by passing a cord of the same clay over it and I smoothed it with my hand.

4 ) Después lo puli con un tubito de de metar. Eso es bruñido.

4 ) Then I polished it with a metal polishing tube. That's burnished.

5 ) Aquí terminados los florero.

5 ) Here the vases are finished.
