Today I will show you how I transformed my boring cell phone case into one with more personality.
As I am a person who likes to experiment a lot with painting, I decided to give it a special look by capturing the famous "Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh which is one of my favorite paintings.
This post is not a tutorial, but I show every step of the process, so feel free to customize your cell phone case with whatever you like, to give it a fabulous style.

I used a transparent case, on the outside of which I made the sketch of the painting.

El día de hoy les mostraré cómo transformé mi aburrida funda de celular en una con más personalidad.
Como soy una persona que le gusta bastante experimentar con la pintura, decidí darle un toque especial plasmando la famosa “Noche estrellada” de Vicent Van Gogh la cual es de mis pinturas favoritas.
Este post no es a modo de tutorial, pero si muestro cada paso del proceso, así que anímense a personalizar la funda de su celular, para darle un estilo único y llamativo.
¡Comencemos esta entretenida experiencia!
Utilicé una funda transparente, en la parte de afuera le realicé el boceto de la pintura.

The fun part of this is to paint on the inside to protect the paint, so, we are not going to paint as traditionally done, starting with the simple colors and finishing with the details. In this case I started first with the white details, then the light blue and yellow ones.
One recommendation I give is to try to paint everything in the same color at once. I used a fine brush and paints in white, dark blue, light blue, black and yellow.

La parte divertida de esto que es se pinta por la parte de adentro para proteger la pintura, es decir no vamos a pintar como tradicionalmente se hace, empezando por los colores base y terminando con los detalles. En este caso empecé primero con los detalles en color blanco, luego los azul celeste y amarillos.
Una recomendación que doy es pintar lo que sea del mismo color de una sola vez. Utilicé un pincel fino y pinturas de color blanco, azul oscuro, celeste, negro y amarillo.

Then I proceeded and painted with dark blue and some black details to give shadows and depth.
I am painting with brush strokes leaving small spaces, as I go along I can see where shadows or lights are missing.

Estoy pintando con pinceladas dejando pequeños espacios, que a medida que voy avanzando puedo darme cuenta en dónde faltan sombras o luces.

To make the colors stand out more I decided to do a coat with white paint. On top of this I put some white glue to protect the paint from rubbing.

Para que los colores se vieran más fuertes decidí hacerle una capa con pintura blanca. Encima de esta le coloqué pega escolar para proteger la pintura de algún roce.
That's it! Now I have a cell phone with more style and more to my liking.
