Desde hace un tiempo tengo un materito de arcilla vacío, pues su antigua ocupante no sobrevivió 🥺, me avergüenza decir que soy pésima para cuidar una planta, hasta los cactus se me mueren 😔, en fin, en vista de que el matero quedó vacío y sin cumplir su función decidí darle otra oportunidad, usarlo para un bonsai, pero para que combinara con el proyecto debía pintarlo.
For some time I have an empty clay pot, because its former occupant did not survive 🥺, I'm ashamed to say that I'm lousy to take care of a plant, even cactus die 😔, anyway, in view that the pot was empty and without fulfilling its function I decided to give it another chance, use it for a bonsai, but to combine it with the project I had to paint it.
Hace un tiempo ví que la amiga @rlathulerie le da otra oportunidad a los frascos pintandolos, usando en vez de pinceles o brochas, una esponja y decidí usar su técnica para evitar las marcas de la brocha.
Some time ago I saw that my friend @rlathulerie gives another opportunity to the jars by painting them, using a sponge instead of brushes and I decided to use her technique to avoid brush marks.
Sin más preámbulo éstos son los materiales:
Without further ado these are the materials:
- Maceta.
- Pot.
- Esponja.
- Sponge.
- Pintura de su preferencia (utilicé pintura de caucho blanca).
- Paint of your choice (I used white rubber paint).
- Cinta negra.
- Black cord.
- Pegamento
- Glue.
Procedimiento:
Process:
- Comprueba que la maceta está lista para pintar, limpia y seca.
- Check that the pot is ready to paint, clean and dry.
- Humedece la esponja con la pintura y aplícala con pequeños toques. A mi me encantó que con un poco de pintura pude cubrir gran parte de la superficie.
- Wet the sponge with the paint and apply it with small touches. I loved that with a little bit of paint I was able to cover a large part of the surface.
- Deja secar la pintura y repite el proceso hasta que creas que está bien cubierto y uniforme.
- Let the paint dry and repeat the process until you think it is well covered and uniform.
- Como toque final añadí la cinta negra con pegamento para darle un poco de personalidad.
- As a final touch I added the black ribbon with glue to give it a little personality.
Por cierto olvidé mencionar que también pinté el interior de la maceta para que se viera uniforme 😅.
By the way I forgot to mention that I also painted the inside of the pot to make it look uniform 😅.
