It has been a very difficult two days in which my country, Venezuela, has been subjected to different situations. We are facing tremendous uncertainty and mixed feelings in every sense of the word. I won't say much, but we know that very delicate days are ahead. Today, more than ever, I am thinking of Venezuela, trusting in God and asking Him with all my heart that everything will come to a happy conclusion, because the situation is not easy.

Since I cannot get my country out of my mind, today I wanted to do something in its honor with the colors of my flag. I made a decorative 2D pendant dedicated to Venezuela.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Han sido dos días bastante difíciles en los que mi país Venezuela ha estado sometido a diferentes situaciones, tenemos una incertidumbre tremenda, sentimientos encontrados en todos los sentidos de la palabra. No voy a decir mucho, pero sabemos que vienen días bien delicados, hoy más que nunca tengo presente a Venezuela, confiando en Dios y pidiéndole con todas las fuerzas de mi alma que todo llegue a feliz término, porque la situación no es nada fácil.

Ya que no puedo sacar a mi país de mi mente, hoy quise hacer algo en honor a él con los colores que lleva mi bandera. Realicé un colgante decorativo en 2D de dedicado a Venezuela.

Mi Venezuela vas a florecer, Dios bendiga a toda mi gente 💛💙❤️

• I started by taking 4mm wide yellow quilling tape. Using the needle, I rolled each piece of tape until it was finished, then sealed it with extra-strong white glue that I removed from the needle to form a closed circle. We will need six identical circles.

• We will shape each of the circles into a drop shape, then group them in threes and glue the two groups together to form a flower.

• Using the same parameters as above, we will take 4mm wide blue tape and make 12 smaller closed circles. We will also shape these into drops and group them in pairs using extra-strong white glue.

• Comencé tomando cinta para quilling de color amarillo de 4mm de ancho, con la aguja enrollé cada una de las cintas hasta terminar con la misma, selle con pega blanca extra fuerte saqué de la aguja para obtener un círculo cerrado. Necesitaremos seis círculos iguales.

• Moldearemos cada uno de los círculos en forma de gota, luego agruparemos de tres en tres, pegaremos los dos grupos hasta formar una flor.

• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores tomaremos cinta azul de 4 mm de ancho, realizaremos 12 círculos cerrados más pequeños, estos también los moldearemos en forma de gotas y agruparemos con pega blanca extra fuerte de dos en dos.

• Take the yellow flower and glue the blue pieces around it, as shown in the image.

• Now take the red ribbon, also 4 mm wide, and use it to make six closed circles the same size as the blue ones. Shape them into drops and glue them one by one on top of the blue pieces.

• Tomaremos la flor amarilla y pegaremos las piezas de color azul tal y como pueden ver en la imagen, alrededor de la misma.

• Ahora tomaremos cinta de color roja también de 4 mm de ancho, con esta realizaremos seis círculos cerrados del mismo tamaño de los azules, moldearemos en forma de gota, de una en una iremos pegando encima de las piezas azules.

• To laminate, harden, and protect this piece, apply several layers of extra-strong white glue, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next.

• To decorate, I took some costume jewelry crystals and placed them in the center of each piece.

• I took a charm of the map of my Venezuela with a ring and attached it to the bottom of the charm I made.

• To finish, I placed another jewelry ring at the top of the piece and attached the pendant of my choice, in this case a silver chain.

This is how I finished this decorative 2D pendant that I made in honor of my country, Venezuela, using the quilling technique.

• Para plastificar, endurecer y para proteger esta pieza, aplicaremos varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte dejándo secar entre una capa y otra.

• Para decorar tomé cristales de bisutería y coloqué en el centro de cada una de las piezas.

• Tomé un dije del mapa de mi Venezuela con una argolla y enganché en la parte de abajo del dije que realicé.

• Para finalizar coloqué otra argolla de bisutería en la parte de arriba de la pieza, enganché el colgante de mi preferencia en este caso coloqué una cadena de color plateada.

De esta manera finalice este colgante decorativo en 2D que realicé en honor a mi país Venezuela, en la técnica de quilling.
