Hola amigos de Hive 🩷 espero que se encuentren bien. Hoy les traigo un paso a paso para elaborar un disfraz o traje de mantaraya, este se lo pidieron a mi hijo en el colegio para un desfile escolar de carnaval y que le servirá para el cierre de proyecto del segundo lapso. Para esto acudi un centro textil y compre tela que me pudieran servir para esto e inmediatamente puse manos a la obra.

Today I bring you a step by step to make a costume or mantaraya costume, this was asked to my son at school for a school carnival parade and that will serve for the closing of the second term project. For this I went to a textile center and bought fabric that I could use for this and immediately got down to work.

Paso a paso | Step by step

Utilicé tela azul oscuro o marino y blaco. En la tela azul hice la forma de una mantaraya y corte, con ayuda de esta pude cortar luego la misma forma an la tela blanca y asi ya obtuve las dos piezas principales.

I used dark blue or navy blue and white fabric. In the blue fabric I made the shape of a manta ray and cut, with the help of this I was able to cut the same shape in the white fabric and so I got the two main pieces.

Coloqué una pieza ensima de la otra y la uni por la orillas con ayuda de una maquina de coser dejando en la parte baja el espacio por donde poner, seguido corte una pieza en triangulo y cosi, haciendo la forma del aguijón de la mantaraya.

I placed one piece on top of the other and joined them at the edges with the help of a sewing machine, leaving a space at the bottom to put, then I cut a triangle piece and sewed, making the shape of the stingray's stinger.

Luego detener ya las piezas cosidas comenzamos a armar y colocar las pequeñas piezas que dará vida a la mantaraya como pegarle a aguijón, las pintas en color blanco por la parte de atras y por las parte delantera los ojos boca, las branqueas y listo.

After stopping and sewing the pieces together, we begin to assemble and place the small pieces that will give life to the manta ray, such as gluing the stinger, the white paint on the back and on the front, the eyes, mouth, gills and ready.
