How about dear artisan friends! Welcome once again to this space of ingenious and artistic crafts made from different unusual materials. On this occasion I bring to all of you this strange but similar craft inspired by a crocodile, made with rubber straps, thread spools and other objects.

Materiales:

Process:

We cut the tire strap into different pieces and save them for later. We take the cardboard spools and cut them in half, to form the head of the alligator.

We cut one of the masks into four semicircular pieces to obtain the parts of the legs, a complete one for the body, a circle for the chest, and the piece of the head which is already ready, we also cut another circle to cover the part from behind the mask that formed the body of the alligator. We glued the circles to cover the cylinder, and then we glued the head and legs.

We painted a green pattern with black spots on the upper part of the body, beige with black stripes on the chest, belly and legs, pink and red for the inside of the mouth and jaw.

We use the previously cut rows of strap to line the main part of the body and the legs, we also cut two pieces of the same size to look like the bulging area near the eyes, that is, the eyebrows. This way it will have a texture and appearance similar to the skin of these large reptiles.

We cut the aluminum foil in different sizes to make the crocodile's fangs and claws, which are shaped like arrows. Then we take the red ribbon and cut a piece to make the tongue with the rounded tip.

We glue two red seeds as eyes, we paint the center in black as the pupils and we fix the claws on the legs.

We glued the fangs into the jaw, and attached the tongue to it.

Now the row of teeth and claws is ready, we only have one small detail left, paint some of the cubes of the strap in green and the separations in black to make it look much better.

In this way we culminate with this creative and great craft based on a crocodile, perfect for garden decorations due to its innovative appearance, as it stands out in environments with abundant vegetation and water.
