Melancholy, A Room Full of Loneliness

Hello my dearest art lovers, happy friday to all who read me and I hope you had a great week full of productivity, today I come with a new drawing for my artistic blog, as you know I had a week without sharing anything here because I changed my computer and I had to migrate several files and especially install the programs to my new pc, Today I bring you a work that until a couple of days ago I could finish and it is about Melancholy, a room full of loneliness and in it I capture a pretty girl named Anna, with deep brown hair which is quite thoughtful and sad while in the distance you can see in her eyes a memory that for some reason can not get out of her mind:

Hola mis queridísimos amantes del arte, feliz viernes para todos los que me leen y espero hayan tenido una grandiosa semana llena de productividad, el día de hoy vengo con un nuevo dibujo para mi blog artístico, como sabrán tenía una semana sin compartir nada por aquí pues cambie de computadora y tuve que migrar varios archivos y sobretodo instalar los programas a mi nueva pc, el día de hoy les traigo una obra que hasta hace par de días pude finalizar y se trata de Melancolia, un Cuarto lleno de soledad y en ella plasmo a una linda chica llamada Anna, de cabello marrón profundo la cual se muestra bastante pensativa y triste mientras a lo lejos se ve en sus ojos un recuerdo que por alguna razón no logra sacar de su mente:

This work I must say that I started it on my old PC but in spite of that I tried to create a good sketch that looked stylized and attractive enough to the eye, I was structuring very well the pose of Anna as if she was lying on a table while enjoying the only company of her cigarette. Among the colors that I then used to give shape and life to my work are the medium pastel tones to build what would be the skin in a special way.

Esta obra debo decir que la comencé en mi Antigua Pc pero a pesar de ello trate de crear un buen boceto que se viera lo bastante estilizado y atractivo a la vista, fui estructurando muy muy bien la pose de Anna como si se encontrara recostada sobre una mesa mientras disfruta de la única compañía de su cigarrillo. Entre los colores que luego fui utilizando para irle dando forma y vida a mi obra están los tonos medio pasteles para ir construyendo los que sería la piel en uno forma especial.

After finishing with the skin and having given it what would be the right volume to achieve the necessary realism I continued with what would be the painting of the more specific details of the face that would give more or less a personality to the character of Anna, the lips I decided to paint them quite voluminous with pink tones, and for the eyes I decided to do something a little different than usual and chose to paint them in a soft blue color which later I would go detailing a little more with smaller brushes.

Luego de terminar con la piel y de haberle dado lo que sería el volumen justo para conseguir el realismo necesario proseguí con lo que sería el pintado de los detalles más específicos del rostro que le fueran dando más o menos una personalidad al personaje de Anna, los labios decidí pintarlos bastante voluminosos con tonos rosados, y para los ojos me anime a hacer algo un poco diferente a lo habitual y opte por pintarlos de un color azul suave el cual más adelante iría detallando un poco más con pinceles más pequeños.

For the clothing I wanted to do something quite striking, that's why I decided to create a kind of long-sleeved sweater which would keep Anna warm from the cold, for this sweater I used quite bright red tones to build some texture with watercolor brushes. Having finished with the clothing section the following in the painting process was the creation of the character's hair, for Anna's hair I decided to create it with chocolate brown tones, I was using first the airbrush for the base and for the leftovers and light areas and then later I would use the watercolor brushes and a special hair brush which has the tips somewhat dispersed and in this way I got a much more natural and realistic hair appearance.

Para la vestimenta quise hacer algo bastante llamativo, es por ello que decidí crear una especie de suéter de mangas largas el cual abrigara del fría a Anna, para este suéter usé tonos rojos bastante brillantes para ir construyendo un poco de textura con pinceles acuarela. Habiendo terminado con el apartado de la ropa lo siguiente en el proceso de pintado fue la creación del pelo del personaje, para el cabello de Anna me anime a crearlo con tonos marrón chocolatosos, fui usando primero el pincel aerógrafo para la base y para las sobran y zonas claras y luego más adelante emplearía los pinceles acuarela y un pincel especia de cabello el cual tiene las puntas algo dispersas y de esta manera conseguí una apariencia de cabello mucho más natural y realista.

I continued with the cigarette which was quite easy to do since I have some practice painting them in my works, what did take me a little bit was the creation of the background room scenery, because I tried to give a lot of detail and texture to everything, fortunately with my new computer I no longer have those horrible delays or lags when using brushes with lots of information or large diameter, then thanks to that I could use a special brush which gave that texture like tree leaves and mixed together which can be seen on the background wall. Finally I played a little with the layer modes and added a lot of glows and shadows to everything, I also added a little sparkle in what would be the cigarette in Anna's hand so that it would give the impression of being what illuminated the room.

Continúe con el cigarrillo en cual fue bastante fácil de hacer ya que tengo algo de practica pintándolos en mis obras, lo que si me demoro un poco fue la creación del escenario del cuarto de fondo, debido a que trate de darle bastante nivel de detalle y textura a todo, afortunadamente con mi nueva computadora ya no tengo esos horribles retardos o lags a la hora de usar pinceles con muchas información o de gran diámetro, entonces gracias a eso pude utilizar un pincel especial el cual le di esa textura como de hojas de árboles y mezclados entre sí los cuales se pueden apreciar en la pared del fondo. Ya por ultimo jugué un poco con los modos de capa y agregue muchísimos brillos y sombras a todo, también agregue un pequeño destello en lo que sería el cigarrillo en la mano de Anna de modo de que diera la impresión de ser lo que iluminaba la habitación.

Well this has been all for today my people, thank you very much to all who came here and took the time to see the process of my work to which I put a lot of effort to make it as good as possible, this drawing was made in the same Paint Tool Sai program because I have many special brushes that I already know and had saved, but soon as I download the brushes for Photoshop I will begin to make drawings in that program too and as always you will be the first to see them so wait for them soon. Bueno esto ha sido todo por el día de hoy mi gente, muchísimas gracias a todos lo que llegaron hasta aquí y se tomaron el tiempo de ver el proceso de mi obra al cual le puse mucho empeño para que quedara lo mejor posible, este dibujo lo realice en el mismo programa Paint Tool Sai ya que tengo muchos pinceles especiales que ya conozco y tenía guardados, pero pronto en lo que descargue los pinceles para Photoshop comenzare a realizar dibujos en ese programa también y como siempre serán ustedes los primeros en verlos así que espérenlos pronto.
