Good morning dear community, I hope you are feeling well, today I bring you a new drawing in gray scale that ends yesterday and it is about the great actor and producer Johnny Depp, who is one of my favorite actors ever and who you will know mostly for his interpretation of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean saga, but also for his appearance in many other films such as the young man with the scissors hands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and many more. I made this drawing to continue perfecting my technique with the drawing in gray scale, technique to which I am beginning to take pleasure lately in spite of not having many drawings made in this style, here I will show you a little bit the process of this drawing:

Muy buen día querida comunidad, ojala se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy traigo un nuevo dibujo a escala de grises que termine el día de ayer y se trata sobre el grandísimo actor y productor Johnny Depp, el cual es uno de mis actores favoritos de siempre y al cual conocerán mayormente por su interpretación del capitán Jack Sparrow en la saga de Piratas del Caribe, pero también por su aparición en muchas otras películas como por ejemplo el joven de las manos de tijera, Charlie y la fábrica de chocolate, y muchas más. Realice este dibujo para seguir perfeccionando mi técnica con el dibujo en escala de grises, técnica a la cual le estoy comenzando a tomar gusto últimamente a pesar de no tener muchos dibujos hechos en este estilo, aquí les enseñare un poco el proceso de este dibujo:

PROCESS / PROCESO

I started with some guide lines to give shape to the whole drawing, then with my idea raised there if I proceed to delineate everything very well so that the painting is much easier and correct later.

Comencé con algunas líneas guías para irle dando forma a todo el dibujo, luego con mi idea planteada allí si procedo a delinear todo muy bien para que el pintado sea mucho más fácil y correcto más adelante.

For the skin use a very light gray color, almost approaching the white, this color uses it as a base and on it can give the desired volume, add in darker shade the respective shadows in areas such as nose, eyes, cheekbones, etc.

Para la piel utilice un color gris muy claro, casi que aproximándose al blanco, este color lo utilice como base y sobre ella poder dar el volumen deseado, agregue en tonalidad más oscura las respectivas sombras en zonas como la nariz, ojos, pómulos, etc.

With the skin part ready I continued to paint the eyes of the character, for this I went a little more to the dark shades of gray, and I was detailing little by little the eyes with respective details in the iris and the pupil.

Con la parte de la piel lista proseguí a pintar los ojos del personaje, para esto me fui un poco más a las tonalidades oscuras de grises, y fui detallando poco a poco el ojos con respectivos detalles en el iris y la pupila.

The next thing was the clothing, as in the character wears a jacket I tried to use a shade of gray almost close to black, the shirt was painted with a gray very close to white, but not so much to be able to make the brightness later, I gave a little volume to all the clothing to look a little more real.

Lo siguiente fue la vestimenta, como en el personaje lleva un saco trate de darle la utilizar un tono de gris casi casi aproximado al color negro, la camisa la pinte con un gris muy cercano al blanco, pero no tanto para poder hacer los brillos más adelante, le di un poco de volumen a toda la vestimenta para que se viera un poco más real.

And to finish the painting of the drawing I only had to give color to the hair, as the color of Johnny Depp's hair is very dark I decided to use a very dark gray tone, apply that color as a base and then I added respective details, first of all I added some shadow lines and finally some fine and thin lines in very very light tones, with this what I wanted was that the hair looked a little more real.

Y para finalizar el pintado del dibujo no me quedaba más que darle color al cabello, como el color del cabello de Johnny Depp es muy oscuro decidí utilizar un tono de gris muy oscuro, aplique ese color como base y luego añadí respectivos detalles, primero que nada agregue algunas líneas de sombras y por ultimo algunas líneas finas y delgadas en tonalidad muy muy clara, con esto lo que quería era que el cabello se viera un poco más real.

Then to complete this drawing I decided that it would be good to add some more shadows to give more detail to everything, especially in areas like the suit and neck, also I added another layer of glitter for the part of the eyes and hair to highlight these areas especially.

Luego para completar este dibujo decidí que le vendría bien agregar algunas sombras mas para darle más detalle a todo, sobretodo en zonas como el traje y el cuello, además agregue otra capa mas de brillos para la parte de los ojos y cabello para resaltar esta zonas especialmente.
