Un árbol de apariencia seca, crece y crece, alimentándose de todo lo que pueda e imponiéndose ante la edificación, sus raices se expanden, rompen la piedra y reclaman de manera acelerada ese paraje desolador...los árboles y vegetación que quedan a sus orillas parecen poco a poco asumir sus mismas características.

A tree with a dry appearance, grows and grows, feeding on everything it can and imposing itself on the building, its roots expand, break the stone and claim that desolate landscape in an accelerated way ... the trees and vegetation that remain on its shores seem little by little to assume the same characteristics.

La poca gente que habita en zonas aledañas no se atreve a acercarse. El agua, que se ve como una sopa de barro y fango, espeso y oscuro de color terracota muy oscuro, no fluye hacia ningún río, aún así parece tener flujo.

En los bares y cuentos de caminos se oyen rumores de los que se ven obligados a cruzar por ahí, se dice que las escasas plantas que crecen en esas aguas se mueven de manera extraña, parecen respirar, incluso hay quienes aseguran que tienen ligeros movimientos errantes que no concuerdan con la dirección del viento. otros dicen que se sienten intimidados por el árbol que crece sin parar en el agua estancada (por lógica infertil para que cualquier cosa de semejante magnitud prospere), que sus ramas y raíces retorcidas cambian de lugar de un día para otro y gruñe cuando las ráfagas de aire vaporoso mueven sus ramas. Al oscurecer, los que viven en las proximidades sienten una incomodidad tan grande que evitan salir después de las 6 de la tarde, aceleran el paso rumbo a su casa, apenas voltean a ver al pantano por precaución y estando en su hogar evitan tener ventanas abiertas por la noche.

Ciertos días el agua parece emitir un olor muy desagradable junto a una niebla que hace remolinos sobre el agua, los más escépticos y los que viven más lejos presumen que son las plantas marchitas en proceso de descomposición, que todos esos cuentos son invenciones de la gente supersticiosa a los que los gases del pantano le han afectado el cerebro, pero los cazadores y conocedores de esa área aseguran de manera férrea que no se trata de eso, más allá de los extraños eventos, aseguran que lo que huelen no son plantas marchitas, de hecho recuerda a algo que resulta escalofriante, les recuerdan a la podredumbre de animales muertos, a tripas y sangre, lo cual no es posible porque ningún pez ha sido visto nadando y los animales de los bosques evitan beber agua de ahí por obvias razones.

El lugar tan extraño se ubica como un punto llamativo entre los viajantes y científicos que buscan dar respuesta a lo que piensan que son delirios de pueblerinos ignorantes...pero la mayoría de los que intentan investigar no logran conclusiones creíbles y otros pocos terminan experimentando los extraños sucesos aún estando muy lejos del pantano.

The strange place is located as a striking point among travelers and scientists who seek to answer what they think are delusions of ignorant villagers ... but most of those who try to investigate do not reach credible conclusions and a few others they end up experiencing the strange events even though they are far from the swamp.

Nadie ha encontrado indicios ni pistas sobre algún otro edificio similar a esa torre en esa zona. Es inevitable preguntar: Quien construyó está torre y con que proposito? El pueblo mas cercano y las casas de cazadores a sus afueras tienen cientos de años contruido y aún así nadie ha logrado descubrir su origen. Además, por qué fue abandonada? El agua siempre ha Sido así? Habrán más sucesos extraños relacionados con el pantano?

No one has found clues about any other building similar to that tower in that area. It is inevitable to ask: Who built this tower and for what purpose? The nearest town and the hunting houses on its outskirts have been built for hundreds of years and yet no one has managed to discover its origin. Also, why was it abandoned? Has water always been like this? Will there be more strange events related to the swamp?

Estos fueron los pasos de la ilustración, estoy retomando el dibujo en grafito con algunas técnicas que he aprendido. Espero que los que se detuvieron aquí hayan disfrutado o al menos les pareciera entretenido.
