Uno de mis juegos favoritos es borderlands, todo desde su jugabilidad, carisma de los personajes, trama, hasta su estética parecida a un cómic me encantan (además de ser tan rejugable). Así que me inspiré para hacer este lugar, una pequeña muestra de todo lo que hay en ese universo que me mantuvo frente a la TV 600horas.
One of my favorite games is borderlands, everything from its gameplay, character charisma, plot, to its comic like aesthetic I love them (besides being so replayable). So I was inspired to make this place, a small sample of everything in that universe that kept me in front of the TV for 400 hours.
En la luna del planeta pandora lo que más abunda es el paisaje sin oxígeno con géiseres y cuevas de gases congelantes. entre las rocas que hay en esos lugares crecen estos hongos criogenicos, para mi son un poco grotescos, sobre todo porque se mueven como si tuvieran insectos adentro, al ser golpeados o apenas tocados sueltan esporas que congelan y realentizan (muy incómodo si estás siendo perseguido por carroñeros espaciales).
On the moon of the planet Pandora what is most abundant is the landscape without oxygen, with geysers and caves of freezing gases. These cryogenic fungi grow among the rocks in those places, for me they are a bit grotesque, especially because they move as if they had insects inside, when hit or barely touched they release Spores that freeze and They slow down (very uncomfortable if you are being chased by space scavengers).
Con este dibujo Quise practicar algunos trucos de iluminación a ver cómo quedaban y me gustó bastante el resultado aunque me gustaria haber hecho toda una cueva criogenica enorme con su lago congelante y algunos kragons cerca, pero supongo que será en otra ocasión, mientras les muestro el proceso de esta ilustración.
(Jueguen mucho con las sombras y descubrirán efectos bastante útiles)
With this drawing I wanted to practice some lighting tricks to see how they would look and I really liked the result although I would like to have made a whole huge cryogenic cave with its freezing lake and some kragons nearby. But I guess it will be another time, while I show you the process of this illustration.
