Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy y feliz jueves, desde hace ya bastante tiempo estoy escuchando al grupo slipknot y amo su música por completo pero algo que más amo a parte de su música es las máscaras que usan y desde hace algún tiempo quise dibujar a uno de los miembros pero aún no me decidía por cuál máscara me gustaba más asi que decidí hacer un dibujo del baterista Joey Jordison con su máscara más icónica dentro de la banda, así que sin más que decir, espero les guste y los invito a leerme! ❤️✨
Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are feeling great today and happy Thursday, for quite some time now I've been listening to the band slipknot and I love their music completely but something I love the most apart from their music is the masks they use and for some time now I wanted to draw one of the members but I still couldn't decide which mask I liked the most so I decided to make a drawing of drummer Joey Jordison with his most iconic mask within the band, so without more to say, I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! ❤️✨
- Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores, mis pinturas y un corrector líquido blanco.
- What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors, my paintings and a liquid paper (correction pen).
Comencé realizando el boceto de Joey con su icónica máscara y a partir de esa imagen empecé a estructurar el dibujo. El boceto lo realice a lapiz y al terminarlo comencé a pintar con pintura, use la pintura azul para hacer un fondo y que al pintar con la pintura base (en este caso la pintura negra) no tuviera que usar demasiado para que se oscureciera completamente, poco a poco fui intercalando la pintura azul y la negra y fui agregando de los lados de su cabeza pintura roja para hacer los mechones de su cabello que son rojos, continúe rellenando con azul y pintando encima con negro y con un marcador rojo de punta fina comencé a hacer los detalles de su máscara, en los ojos y en la boca.
I started with a sketch of Joey with his iconic mask and from that image I started to structure the drawing. I did the sketch in pencil and when I finished it I started to paint it with paint, I used the blue paint to make a background so that when I painted with the base paint (in this case the black paint) I didn't have to use too much so that it would darken completely, little by little I was interspersing the blue and black paint and I was adding red paint on the sides of his head to make the strands of his hair that are red, I continued filling with blue and painting over with black and with a red fine tip marker I began to make the details of his mask, in the eyes and mouth.
Continúe tapando las partes donde agregué pintura azul usando pintura negra y comencé a rellenar las partes negras de su máscara teniendo cuidado de no tapar sus ojos ya que estos le dan más expresividad a la máscara, usando el mismo pincel hice algunas sombras con pintura negra y agregué otras sombras más marcadas de un lado de su nariz y en su cuello, agregué más pintura roja en su cabello para que se uniera con la pintura negra y de viera como un degradado entre ambos tonos, con un poco de pintura negra y rojo hice algunas líneas a los lados del dibujo para simular que está subiendo el color y continúe agregando más sombras suaves ahora con pintura roja.
I continued covering the parts where I added blue paint using black paint and started to fill in the black parts of his mask being careful not to cover his eyes as they give more expressiveness to the mask, using the same brush I made some shadows with black paint and added other more marked shadows on the side of his nose and on his neck, I added more red paint on his hair to join it with the black paint and make it look like a gradient between both tones, with some black and red paint I made some lines on the sides of the drawing to simulate that the color is rising and continued adding more soft shadows now with red paint.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, terminé de usar la pintura agregando algunos detalles pequeños como oscurecer la parte roja de su máscara y también en las partes negras. Con mis colores comencé a pintar las partes donde se puede ver su piel usando naranja y color durazno para el tono de su piel y también para pintar la parte de abajo de sus ojos, con gris pinte el interior de sus ojos y con color azul claro y oscuro pinte sus irises y ya para finalizar agregué algunos brillos con el corrector líquido blanco en los ojos, en su collar y en el cierre de su suéter. Pintarlo fue divertido y amé mucho el resultado sobretodo porque mientras lo dibujaba estuve durante todo ese tiempo escuchando a slipknot y descubrí algunas canciones que no había escuchado y ya las agregué a mis favoritas. ❤️✨
This is the result of the drawing, I finished using the paint adding some small details like darkening the red part of his mask and also the black parts. With my colors I started to paint the parts where you can see his skin using orange and peach for his skin tone and also to paint the bottom of his eyes, with gray I painted the inside of his eyes and with light and dark blue I painted his irises and finally I added some glitter with the liquid paper in his eyes, in his necklace and in the zipper of his sweater. Painting him was fun and I loved the result especially because while I was drawing him I was listening to slipknot and I discovered some songs I hadn't heard before and I added them to my favorites. ❤️✨
