I like Faber Castell. I have heard about Smith that they are super pigmented and saw videos that really amazed me. It is on my list. Pricey pricey but I think that we artists must try the very best
I agree, I think it's good to have tools that do their job well. I recently discovered that I don't have very good brushes, but everything is learned in comparison.
