Hello, Friends!
I have prepared a portion of fresh insects for you. 🐞
Today I present to you my photos of the Dragonfly.
Apparently, posts in the one frame are not subject to curation trail, so have to upload two great frames in one post. 😉
But what can I do, all for your pleasure))😆
Dragonflies (lat. Odonata) are a detachment of ancient flying insects, numbering over 6650 species in the world fauna. These are relatively large insects, with a movable head, large eyes, short bristle-like antennae, an elongated slender abdomen and four transparent wings with a dense network of veins. Dragonflies are active specialized predators that feed on insects caught in flight. Representatives of the detachment are widely distributed throughout the world, meeting on all continents, excluding Antarctica.
Who would have thought, but:
Dragonflies are of great importance to humans. Their role is great in the regulation of the number of blood-sucking insects, a number of pests of agriculture and forestry. In some cases, dragonfly larvae can be harmful, for example, destroying fry in fish ponds or competing with them for food.
The dragonfly is a very shy insect that needs to be approached without frightening. А smartphone - is not the best tool for macro photography, but my Nikon is not always at hand :(
Both pictures were taken by me on my smartphone Redmi Note 7 | Edited in GIMP

Beautiful photos. I have always loved dragonflies because of their crazy maneuverability. They are very strong predators and have interesting mating patterns.
I agree with every word you say.
They are elusive creatures with crazy aerodynamics.
...unreal pilots)))
