Bier Nach Vier made an opening statement in the League of Champions, scoring in minute seven of their opening bout against Danglers FC on their way to a 6-3 showcase against the visiting squad. Bier also survived a 1-0 struggle against LoC newcomers, scoring the lone goal in the 73rd minute. BNV stands alone with a 3-0-0 record after a win against Caceteiros FC.
The multi-season champions are not alone in the unbeaten column. Six-time champion Beerbased Lifeforms start the season 2-1-0, as do AS Whentown and Agripinos FC who each seek their first title. Four teams trail them with a 2-0-1 record.
