No paper? Use water!

in Build-It5 years ago

With the COVID-19 scare around the world, people (at least in Australia) are panic buying all hand sanitisers and toilet papers. You see waves of videos on social media making fun of the situation. But this is getting serious as some of us are running out of paper due to people stocking up enough for years of use or for re-selling them online with a high margin, profiteering from the situation.

However, one thing I remembered from travelling back to Vietnam is that most home out there don't use toilet paper! They are not using the "Demolition Man" Three Seashells either 😂. What they have is a trigger sprayer that connects to your toilet bowl input system.

I got one from eBay and received it today:
Toilet / bidet sprayer

The box comes with:

  • a hose
  • a trigger sprayer
  • a diverter
  • a sprayer holder

You connect the input of diverter to the main tap, then to each of the two output you connect the sprayer hose and the flexi hose that goes to your toilet bowl. Double tape the holder to the toilet bowl and tada, no tool needed.

Now you have access to water to clean whatever you need to clean including the toilet seat, the floor and your rear-end... It's actually more hygienic than using paper, no matter how much you scrub with paper, there is always some residue and smell left over 🤢. With water, everything is washed away.

That will be interesting to see how cold the water will be this winter 😂😂😂
