Hello hive friends, today I come to share with you this brilliant idea of how to take advantage of those egg cartons we have at home, creating a beautiful hanging mobile bee, is easy, striking and serves to decorate your home, without further ado I will teach you my step by step:
Los materiales a utilizar son:
- Cartón de huevo.
- Silicon liquido.
- Pintura de color amarillo y negro.
- Foami escarchado de color plateado.
- Hilo nailon.
- Un aro.
- Tijera.
- Pincel.
- Ojos movibles.
- Lápiz.
- Hoja en blanco.
- Hisopo.
The materials to be used are:
- Egg carton.
- Liquid silicon.
- Yellow and black paint.
- Silver colored frosted Foami.
- Nylon thread.
- A hoop.
- Scissors.
- Paintbrush.
- Movable eyes.
- Pencil.
- Blank sheet.
- Swab.
Step 1: The first thing to do is to take the egg carton and cut out the bases taking out dozens of them to start building the body of the bee.
Step 2: We take two bases and glue them with the liquid silicone leaving a small piece of nylon thread in the middle, then we paint them yellow and let them dry in the open air.
Step 3: After having painted the body of our bee very well and having put it to dry, we paint its stripes black and also each end of the swabs, with that we will form the antennae and tail. While they dry we take the pencil and the blank sheet to make the wings.
Step 4: Once everything is dry, we start gluing with liquid silicone the antennas, tail, wings and mobile eyes, creating our bee, and with a red marker we paint its mouth. Then we take two pieces of nylon thread of half a meter, we fold it in half and make a knot, at the other end we tie it to the hoop to start hanging the bees that we already have ready.
This is my result hive friends, is a wonderful art made with recycled materials, taking advantage of the egg cartons that surely we throw away, is an ornament that you can use for your home or business.
