Holiday fever

Although most of the globe is already enjoying the holiday spirit, here heating is just about to start, when it comes to smaller places, the euphoria is almost intangible compared to what is currently happening on the streets of a big city. The absence of snow cover also contributed to this, personally as someone who is used to enjoying the crunch of snowflakes under the feet, I'm considering Christmas as incomplete.

But there are also those souls for whom the height of the snow cover is not crucial for the festive mood - children, I meet them most often on the streets these days, carrying colorful bags that are hiding "you were good this year" goodies. They don't care if Santa has a real beard, a big belly and smiles HOHOHO, let's be real today anyone can be Santa, all you need is a gift.

A small Christmas bazaar that is traditionally held every year on the town square as one of the heralds that the festive era has begun. However, everything in this city is a mystery, so if you are not willing to scratch below the surface, it can leave you with a very boring impression, although surrounded by endless plains, it is also shrouded in a veil, but beneath that surface a rich cultural content is hidden, what I really like is that they are all adapted to the youngest fellow citizens.

And how else would we know that the New Year is coming if there is no Christmas tree? While in some cultures it is decorated during the Christmas holidays, in ours it is the herald of the new year. Despite the fact that the formal celebration doesn't begin until December 31st, my country is a bit confused about the holiday because the streets are adorned early in December.

Personally, I am not intoxicated by the holidays, nor do I like the rush and shopping that has become a symbol of this time of year in recent years, what I enjoy the most is a warm home, a rich table and dear people who surround me. They don't say for nothing that it doesn't matter what is under the Christmas tree, but who surrounds it, there won't be a Christmas tree in our home this year either, but today I received a package from a dear person who is waiting for me to unpack it after I return home.

I'm a bit more like this cat, it would seem that she too is looking for a quality round of cuddles and a few bites, I bet that after a delicious meal, both of us would curl up in a warm blanket and take a nap.
