Creo que cuando pienso en la pandemia se siente como algo que paso hace muy poco, pero en realidad ya fue hace 4 años, el 2020 fue un año de muchísimas cosas, pero si algo sucedió en exceso ese año fue el abandono de proyectos jajaja en ese año o quizás el siguiente una amiga había empezado a coser y nos pasábamos tips y moldes gratuitos que íbamos consiguiendo ya que la creación de contenido estaba en su pico máximo, así es como llego a mis manos el proyecto que voy a mostrarles hoy.
I think when I think about the pandemic it feels like something that happened very recently, but in reality it was 4 years ago, 2020 was a year of many things, but if something happened excessively that year it was the abandonment of projects hahaha in that year or maybe the next a friend had started sewing and we passed on tips and free templates that we were getting since content creation was at its peak, that's how the project that I'm going to show you today came into my hands.
Se trata de un short, imprimí los moldes hace mucho y hasta había olvidado que los tenía jajaja, pero ordenando hace poco los encontré y pensé que sería una muy buena idea ya que no tengo shorts para salir a la calle, los que tengo son super cortos y se me ven un poco partes que no quiero que se vean jajaja.
These are shorts, I printed the patterns a long time ago and I had even forgotten that I had them hahaha, but I was ordering recently and found them and I thought it would be a really good idea since I don't have shorts to go out on the street, the ones I have are super short and some parts of me that I don't want to be seen can be seen hahaha.
Lo primero que hice fue armar la moldería y así descubrir de donde venia el patrón, la cuenta es lo de gaby taller y en 2020 compartió un molde de short, por desgracia no encontré el tutorial, pero es un short, no hay nada difícil en eso, por la foto se entendía que era en tela de punto así que con el molde listo ya tenía una parte resuelta.

Resulta que cuando me puse a buscar tela pues no tenía jajaja así que me tocó improvisar, tenía un pantalón que me habían dado para hacer algo, en mi familia saben que yo aprovecho todas las telas, hasta de prendas que ya están usadas, no me gusta la ropa usada, pero modificarla y hacerla algo nuevo me encanta así que desarmé un pantalón acomodé muy bien mis moldes y a coser.

I don't like used clothes, but I love modifying them and making them into something new, so I took apart a pair of pants, arranged my patterns very well, and sewed.

Pero se me ocurrió otra cosita más jajajaja ese día estaba muy inspirada, un problema que tengo es que al usar muchas calzas o faldas a ninguna le hice bolsillos, el año pasado aprendí un montón de moldería y confección así que me puse a hacer unos bolsillos también, necesito donde guardar mi teléfono así que son bolsillos muy amplios.
But I thought of something else hahaha that day I was very inspired, one problem I have is that when I wear a lot of leggings or skirts I didn't make pockets in any of them, last year I learned a lot about pattern making and sewing so I started making some pockets too, I need somewhere to keep my phone so they are very large pockets.

Con sobrantes de tela hice las vistas de los bolsillos, esto es para que no se vea la tela del forro, es lo único que llegue a coser ya que se me hacía de noche y tenía que resolver mi cena jajaja, con puntada zigzag situé las vistas, como pueden ver los bolsillos son enteros, me gustan más así, me ahorro una costura.
With leftover fabric I made the facings of the pockets, this is so that the lining fabric cannot be seen, it is the only thing I managed to sew since it was getting dark and I had to sort out my dinner hahaha, with a zigzag stitch I placed the facings, as you can see the pockets are whole, I like them better this way, I save myself a seam.
Este proyecto viene bien, y si realmente sale bien voy a hacer más shorts con este molde, pero con mucho más upcycling, ya veremos cómo se desarrolla este proyecto.
This project is coming along well, and if it really turns out well I will make more shorts with this pattern, but with a lot more upcycling, we'll see how this project develops.
