Mi trabajo práctico de plantas carnívoras fue duro, tarde mucho en hacer cada muestra, y fue todo más difícil de lo que imaginé, pero ya paso lo peor y eso me pone contenta, por que trabajar tanto en este proyecto me agotó jajajajaj también es que yo creo que estamos entrando en el inicio del fin de año y eso es también bastante agotador, y yo soy una persona en general de energía muy baja jajaja.

My practical work on carnivorous plants was hard, it took me a long time to make each sample, and it was all more difficult than I imagined, but the worst is over and that makes me happy, because working so much on this project exhausted me hahahahahaha also I think we are entering the beginning of the end of the year and that is also quite exhausting, and I am a person in general with very low energy hahaha.

Después de mucho corregirlo y batallar nos aprobaron el camino a seguir tanto con la cabeza como con las maquetas que irían en el cuerpo, hay verdes con rojo y bordo, bordo con rojo, lana peludita y una lana que es mi preferida es una cinta bebe muy fina mezclada con hilo, esta fue la más difícil de tejer de todas.

After much correction and struggle, they approved the path to follow for both the head and the models that would go on the body. Muchas de las muestras están tejidas con tensión, para que no sean planas, claramente yo no sé reducir puntos y cuando buscaba tutoriales todo era confuso ya que ni sé qué punto tejer, hay varetas, medias varetas y muchas variedades, tejí viendo videos que no explicaban, solo era una persona tejiendo lento así que eso hice, imitar el punto hasta que este quedara bien, lo bueno es que al ser todo experimental no debía ser nada exacto, solo interesante.

Many of the samples are knitted with tension, so they are not flat, clearly I do not know how to reduce stitches and when I looked for tutorials everything was confusing since I do not even know what stitch to knit, there are double crochets, half double crochets and many varieties, I knitted watching videos that did not explain, I was just one person knitting slowly so that is what I did, imitate the stitch until it was right, the good thing is that since everything is experimental it did not have to be exact, just interesting.

Mis muestras preferidas resultaron ser las de totora, al ser tan principiante este material es más fácil de ver a la hora de tejer, entiendo mejor por donde debe ir la aguja y como seguir la siguiente línea, con la lana esto me costaba muchísimo más, pero todo iba bien.

My favorite samples turned out to be the totora ones. Being a beginner, this material is easier to see when knitting. I understand better where the needle should go and how to follow the next line. With wool, this was much more difficult for me, but everything was going well.

Después de tener muchas muestras y pruebas en el cuerpo lo siguiente fue empezar a prefigurar, teníamos dos ideas muy en las nubes, pero ese era el punto de partida, comencé a ubicar las cosas en el maniquí según ideas de clase y mi propio criterio de color y de forma, un pecho cubierto para no exponer a la modelo, una espalda aireada y una especie de falda que colgaría bastante de abajo.

After having many samples and tests on the body, the next thing was to start prefiguring. We had two very cloudy ideas, but that was the starting point. I began to place things on the mannequin according to class ideas and my own criteria of color and shape, a covered chest so as not to expose the model, an airy back and a kind of skirt that would hang quite a bit from below.

Empecé a hacer esto, pero en el medio me enfermé, pero seguí trabajando, dando lo mejor por que el desfile era en unos días (ustedes están leyendo esto cuando todo ya paso jajaja por eso también la actualización es tan lejana en tiempo) fueron semanas muy estresantes de creer que no se llegaba al desfile, pero hey todo está bien ahora.

I started doing this, but in the middle I got sick, but I kept working, giving my best because the fashion show was in a few days (you are reading this when everything has already happened hahaha that is also why the update is so far away in time) they were very stressful weeks of believing that the fashion show would not happen, but hey everything is fine now.

La idea con varias muestras era la superposición y que de esa manera generara un poco de volumen hacia afuera, como volados, pero sin ser prendas, previo al desfile teníamos mucho trabajo que hacer, pero con todas las muestras tejidas el trabajo se hacía muchísimo más fácil, además la disposición del color también era importante, los descansos visuales y las tensiones que todo esto tendría.

The idea with several samples was to superimpose them and in this way generate a little volume outwards, like ruffles, but without being garments. Before the show we had a lot of work to do, but with all the samples knitted the work became much easier. In addition, the arrangement of the color was also important, as well as the visual breaks and tensions that all this would have.

El día del desfile nos dieron sugerencias que mejorarían todo y en base a eso seguimos trabajando el tiempo que teníamos para tener todo listo con la producción de fotos, que sería un día sábado. Lo mejor de la producción fue ver todo el trabajo listo luciendo frente a la cámara, con el paisaje elegido y todo casi listo para la entrega final.

On the day of the show, we were given suggestions that would improve everything and based on that we continued working the time we had to have everything ready with the photo production, which would be on a Saturday. The best part of the production was seeing all the work ready in front of the camera, with the chosen landscape and everything almost ready for the final delivery.

En selección de fotos tomamos maso menos unas 14 fotos de las más de 100 que había sacado el fotógrafo (que por suerte es mi amigo y siempre me ayuda con todo lo que puede) y me encargue de la edición para que la idea del personaje fuera fácil de entender, es una chica que fue comida por una gran planta carnívora de capuchón.

In the photo selection process we took about 14 photos out of the more than 100 that the photographer had taken (who luckily is my friend and always helps me with everything he can) and I took charge of the editing so that the idea of ​​the character was easy to understand. She is a girl who was eaten by a large carnivorous hooded plant.

El día de la entrega armamos un catálogo con las fotos, presentándolo en formato libro acordeón, nunca había hecho esto y lo resolví el mismo día de la clase jaja pero salió también decente para ser mi primera vez, con todo listo ahora solo queda esperar la nota y pasar al próximo trabajo que es plano y línea, pero ya veremos que nos depara.

On the day of delivery we put together a catalogue with the photos, presenting it in an accordion book format. I had never done this before and I solved it on the same day of class haha, but it also turned out decently for my first time. With everything ready, now all that's left is to wait for the grade and move on to the next project, which is flat and line, but we'll see what it has in store for us.

Del día de la entrega saque varias fotos a mi prototipo que es el primero y después a muchos otros muy hermosos, son trabajos excelentes y se el estrés de todas para lograrlo, siempre al terminar esto hay un aplauso de clase general con los profesores, por nuestro esfuerzo, seguro varios dejaron horas de sueño para después, pero con esto listo ya podemos volver a dormir hasta la entrega próxima que vendrá, fue un gran proceso de aprendizaje y paciencia.

On the day of delivery I took several photos of my prototype, which is the first one, and then of many other very beautiful ones. They are excellent works and I know how stressed everyone was to achieve it. When this is finished, there is always a general applause from the class with the teachers, for our effort. I'm sure many of them left hours of sleep for later, but with this ready we can now go back to sleep until the next delivery that will come. It was a great process of learning and patience.
