Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
You know that I don’t like throwing away clothes made from high-quality natural fabric if it can be repaired. The black blouse needed such repairs because the upper part - the neck - was completely stretched out and it looked very untidy.
I thought about how I could fix this, but no normal ideas came to my mind for quite a long time. And then one day I saw in Penterest an idea on how to beautifully narrow the wide edges of the sleeves.
To do this, you need to make several tucks and decorate with beads. I decided to try this on the neck. I just thought that I would use small beads rather than large beads. Moreover, it is precisely the black beads that are used to just slightly highlight the tucks but not to focus attention on them.
I made four pintucks: two at the front and two at the back of the neckline.
I also didn’t really like the way the blouse looked from the front, so I decided to sew up the neckline a little to make it look neater.
The blouse doesn't look very nice in the photos. I couldn’t take a good picture of the black color of the blouse. In fact, the fabric of the blouse is not shabby but beautiful. 😁
Agree, now the blouse has become much nicer to look at. And lastly, I wanted to add a lace to the front. Just such a light touch.
Rate the final result! 😀
It's a different matter isn't it! The blouse looks decent and fits beautifully on the shoulders and neckline. Just what I needed! 😀🤩
