Un saludo enorme a todos los amigos hivers en especial a los amantes de los hilos y las agujas, para hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la reducción de un suéter extra grande que hace un tiempo había comprado en ofertas, la verdad no recuerdo muy bien para que fue el motivo que lo había comprado, pero últimamente ha llovido mucho en mi zona y el frio invade, y lo mejor de todo es que la tela es gruesa y algo caliente, entonces decidí reducirla a mi talla para darle uso, aquí le dejo el paso a paso, no me quito mucho tiempo y fue algo fácil de realizar.
A huge greeting to all the hiver friends, especially those who love threads and needles, for today I want to share with you the reduction of an extra large sweater that I had bought on sale a while ago, the truth is I do not remember very well for what was the reason I had bought it, but lately it has rained a lot in my area and the cold invades, and the best of all is that the fabric is thick and somewhat hot, so I decided to reduce it to my size to use it, here is the step by step, it didn't take a lot of time and it was something easy to do.
Comencé extendiendo mi pieza para retirar las mangas
I started by spreading my piece to remove the sleeves
Luego medí el largo para poder cortar lo sobrante ya que es muy largo.
Then I measured the length to be able to cut the excess since it is very long
Luego me dirijo a cortar parte de los lados desde los hombros hasta el final de los costados, aproximadamente 4 dedos de cada lado.
Then I go to cut part of the sides from the shoulders to the end of the sides, about 4 fingers on each side
Ahora voy a reducir las mangas, midiendo 3 dedos de la parte de los hombros hacia la parte axilar.
Now I am going to reduce the sleeves, measuring 3 fingers from the part of the shoulders towards the armpit part
Después de haber cortado parte de los hombros, reduciré lo ancho de la mancha desde la arte axilar hasta el puño, quitándole tres dedos y finalizando en los puños con dos dedos.
After I have cut off part of the shoulders, I will reduce the width of the stain from the axillary art to the cuff, removing three fingers and ending at the cuffs with two fingers.
La parte de abajo que ya le había retirado al suéter decidí ajustárselo nuevamente pero reduciéndole la parte blanca y poquito de la negra, la parte del ruedo tiene una elástica que ajusta y me gusto y quise volver a colocársela.
The bottom part that I had already removed from the sweater I decided to adjust it again but reducing the white part and a little of the black part, the hem part has an elastic that adjusts and I liked it and wanted to put it back on.
Una vez teniendo ya todo cortado, voy a mi maquina a coser, voy a empezar colocando las mangas uniendo las piezas derecho con derecho y por la parte de adentro empiezo a coser desde arriba hasta la parte axilar, y así mismo con la otra manga.
Once I have everything cut, I go to my machine to sew, I am going to start placing the sleeves joining the pieces right to right and from the inside I start sewing from the top to the armpit, and likewise with the other sleeve.
Prosigo a coserlos ambos costados al pie de la máquina.
I continue to sew them both sides at the foot of the machine.
Para finalizar con la reducción del suéter, uní la parte de abajo, y al tenerla ya cosida le corte lo sobrante de los lados.
To finish with the reduction of the sweater, I joined the bottom part, and having it already sewn I cut the excess from the sides.
