Hello to all my dear artists who participate in this beautiful community 🤗 I am excited to share with you what I have been doing these days.
Although I am not a designer or dressmaker (for now), I have discovered how much I love to transform patterns. Of course, I'm not an expert or anything, I'm just starting out. But what I've discovered, I've loved it! 😃
As we all know very well, sometimes trying new things doesn't work out the first time. We have to keep trying until we get it right. That's how it happened to me. So, the photos are from the first attempt (I still show you how it turned out 🙈) and the result of the second attempt.
I want to share with you the process of how I did it so that if you want, you can do it too.

Hola a todos mis queridos artistas que participan en esta hermosa comunidad 🤗 Yo emocionada de poder compartir con ustedes lo que he estado haciendo estos días.
Aunque no soy diseñadora ni modista (por ahora), he descubierto lo mucho que me gusta transformar patrones. Claro, no soy una experta ni nada, apenas estoy empezando en esto. Pero lo que he descubierto, ¡Me ha encantado! 😃
Como muy bien sabemos, a veces probar cosas nuevas no nos sale a la primera. Hay que seguir intentándolo hasta conseguirlo. Así me sucedió. Por eso, las fotos son del primer intento (igual les muestro como quedó 🙈) y el resultado del segundo intento.
Les quiero compartir el proceso de como lo hice para que si desean, ustedes también puedan hacerlo.
I took my basic panty pattern (the one I always use). I measured the sides so I knew more or less how wide I wanted my waistband to be. I cut a slit in the pattern to get the waistband.
Tomé mi patrón básico de panty (el que siempre uso). Medí los laterales para así saber más o menos de que ancho quería mi pretina. Le hice un corte al patrón sacando así la faja o pretina.

I put a few centimeters on each side of the waistband so that it would fit tightly to the waist, because it doesn't have elastic, and with a good drape.
Le metí unos centímetros de cada lado de forma sesgada a ésta para que quede ajustada a la cintura, porque no lleva elástica, y con buena caída.

For this I zigzag stitched each of the curves (all on the reverse side so that it is hidden). If you cut 4 individual pieces of the girdle, it will fit better 😉 When you flip it into a V-shape.
Para esto pasé costura zigzag en cada una de las curvas (todo por el revés para que quede oculto). Si cortas 4 piezas individuales de la faja te quedará mejor 😉 Al voltear queda en forma de V.

I sewed the sides of the panty and then I fixed the waistband as we fix an elastic (stretching evenly) and finally to the legs if I put elastic (you do it as you usually do).
Cosí los laterales de la panty y luego le fijé la pretina como fijamos una elástica (estirando uniformemente) y, finalmente a las piernas si les puse elástica (lo haces como acostumbras).
The mistake I made on the one at the beginning was that I missed tucking in the waistband a bit more and stretching the elastic less at the waist. I did it again in a different fabric and that's how it turned out 😻
El error que hice en la del principio fue que me faltó meterle un poco más a la pretina y estirar menos la elástica en la cintura. Volví a hacerlo en otra tela y así quedó 😻
It took me several days to finish this project, but I did it! And I feel a lot of satisfaction for having done it myself. What did you guys think? 💜

Amiga te quedaron espectacular, concuerdo con usted, normalmente siempre sale al segundo intento, al igual que usted me gusta la costura y todo lo que tenga que ver con ella, ademas se me hace relajante jsksjdk. Es raro, pero nunca he intentado hacer unas pantis, mi mamá sí y le quedan muy lindass sjjs. Me encanto el resultado....Gracias por compartirnos este muy buen tutorial.

Hola amiga. Te quedaron geniales estas bombachas como le decimos acá. El arte de la lencería lleva tiempo pero cada vez te va a ir mejor. De todas formas estas prendas te quedaron muy bien.

Hola @purpleglitter, te quedaron muy lindas , la combinación de telas está genial, es una gran idea modificar los patrones , los que tengo son muy bajos y la "pancita" queda afuera ja, ja, intentaré modificar uno siguiendo tu explicación.

Hola mi bella @belkyscabrera Muchas gracias! 😻 A mi me ha pasado que la pancita me queda afuera también 😅🙈 y es un poco incómodo usar una panty así. En ese caso podrías solo agregarle al patrón, sin cortarlo, los centímetros que quieres para que la panty te quede hasta donde deseas 😉 Me complace mucho que mi trabajo te sea de ayuda 💟 Bendiciones.
