I so feel you… again… :-DDDD More than a year ago I read, that it is very time saving and motivating to do things in batch. Meaning first cut several garments, then pin them and then sew them. So, like you I also cut out many things at once I wanted to sew. What happened? They are in parts resting on a cupboard as I forgot where the explanation is, some are no longer as practical as I thought when I cut them or I do not like the style any longer and and and… :-D Now I am back to the one-garment-at-a-time-method.
And wow to your patience that you unpicked the elastic, this is no joy and even harder as you used black fabric and thread.

This is exactly what I wanted to do: batch produce. In my head I had said well, today I cut, tomorrow I join the fabrics, then I put the elastics, but guess what? none of that happened 😂. Luckily I have almost no projects cut, only some that I want to finish and try new molds.
