I think I have seen such a project from my grandmother who loved to embroider, but I never saw how it is done. On your macros it looks as if you work with the thread of the original fabric? I guess i have to research this. Your table cloth looks amazing.

Thank you my dear.. I used a crochet thread that is not mercerized so that it doesn´t look shiny. The size of the thread is almost like the cloth fibers. you an google vainica to see more on this project.
