Hello Friends
Returning from that occasion, we have another wedding ceremony for her elder sister, who was getting married to the love of her life. My friend was chosen to be among the bridesmaids almost at the very late hour, as the lady intended to take that position had a slight issue and wouldn’t be able to make it.
While all the series of activities were going on in preparation for the wedding, we rushed down to get the lace material needed to make her outfits. It was about 7 p.m. in the evening when we got back from the market and had only a single night to make this outfit.
I have never been used to sewing clothes under pressure, but this is a special occasion, and we wish that everything will be perfect. It was even more necessary to sew a new outfit for her, as she practically has nothing worth wearing in her closet, and you can imagine when your blood sister is getting married and you need to appear your best.
A list of the series of activities to be done at that late hour include the bridal shower that night.
Sewing is to be done, Cooking of various dishes and taking care of invited guests and checking them into their rooms
The house was filled and loud as the older parents used this opportunity to connect with each other. While we were already tired from the previous day's celebration, I totally slept off and missed the bridal shower, but I woke up early the next day to join her in sewing her outfit. At least it is one of the only activities I can help her with.
We took turns to do different task.
When I am tired of sewing she takes over while I go ahead with cutting the other body part that is needed.
There was no need to sew an extravagant style, even though my friend needed to appear her best, but since we have run out of time, it’s a matter of sewing something lovely yet simple.
Started with cutting the bodice and sleeve, I suggested we add a a stylish net to the hands and necklines
I prepared her another piece to be used as a hair tie.
Cutting the linings and satin
The stitching took longer than expected.
There was the zipper to be fixed as well. In a matter of just 4hours, the dress was ready,a chief bridesmaid dress was for my friend.
Two good heads were indeed better than one and working together made this faster and saved the day.
There was no time for the extra beading and embroidery. I wanted to give the dress some sparkle, but the lace material was of good quality and had some sheen.
And this was the moment we enjoyed some partying at the union of her sister. We had a successful celebration, and no one knew the stress we went through for her to appear nice.
Another lady on stage experienced a wardrobe malfunction, and we, the seamstresses on stage, quickly pulled her out, took her home, and saved her from embarrassment again. Then I realized that her outfits must have been sewn under pressure too.
Regardless of how much we are in a hurry to save the day, it is more important to pay attention to our sewing than to making outfits that will embarrass people later on stage. My friend got compliments on her outfits from the mothers in the house who thought that we would never make it to the occasion sewing an outfit at such late hour.
Everything ended in praise, joy, and happiness.

You must be a real pro and an og to be able to pull it off within such little time. Many designers cant do that and still make the dress look perfect. Your friend must be really grateful to have you. Hope the other person malfunction was not too much. I hate it when malfunction like that happens in public even if it's not me.
Not a pro exactly, we just have to do our best. The zipper of her outfit came out but it better at her back revealing no sensitive part and she was glad to be surrounded by designer.
Thanks for stopping by
I'd still call you a pro ma'am. Just saw some of your designs and they are not average at all. But you can try to be humble tho.
Glad to hear it wasn't that bad.
I love lace. A simple pattern looks special when done in lovely lace. !PIZZA
