Hello Hiveians
Its a culture in this part of the world that ladies who are preparing for marriage are meant to prepare and add certain styles of outfits and the African print fabric to the list of clothes they are taking to husbands house.
These African print fabric can be styled into different beautiful blouses which the wear together with wrapper.
It is believed that a woman's closet should contain more of wrapper and blouses compared to the other parts of the world where a woman can wear whatever she chooses even after marriage.
With time the wrappers for these blouse can henceforth be used in backing their babies when they are born after marriage.
Here is a sample and a design of an Igbo blouse using the African print fabric.
The Ghana Kente fabric
It is an African print fabric with a creative mixture and blend of colors. These fabrics are so colorful that you can see a blend of up to 6 colors dyed into the same fabrics.
This same fabric was used in the design of this African print fabrics to make a blouse with a double flair peplum and a bell sleeve
For this design the bust pad has been included and contoured such that a woman can wear it without a brassiere
Here is a image of how this colorful fabric has been used to make a beautiful style/design.
This is a design series for my sister blouses with the African print fabric as she plans and prepares to get united with her husband.
I do hope you love the styles if these lovely Ghana kente fabrics, I wasn't opportuned to catch my sister in her complete outfit while trying it out.
