Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi pequeño espacio, espero que hayan tenido un lindo día, hoy les quiero compartir mi participación en el desafío propuesto hace unas semanas, sé que está acabando pero después de pensar tanto me dije que no podía dejar de participar porque me parece la oportunidad perfecta para honrar humildemente a OCD a través de este cuadro, mi proyecto.

Welcome back to my little space, I hope you had a nice day, today I want to share with you my participation in the challenge proposed a few weeks ago, I know that it is ending but after thinking so much I told myself that I could not stop participating because it seems to me the perfect opportunity to humbly honor the OCD through this painting, my project.

Me considero una persona capaz de lograr lo que me propongo, aunque es cierto que soy un hombre y esta tarea no es común para nosotros, me atreví a experimentar, no soy bueno bordando pero me gustó el resultado, de lo cual me siento orgulloso, creo que no quedó tan mal, tiene detalles por corregir pero, es la primera vez que hago un trabajo de estos y una de las pocas veces que tomo hilo y aguja, cuando era pequeño mi abuela me enseñó a tejer prendas, me hubiera gustado volver a intentarlo pero necesitaba una aguja especial y no tengo, mi abuela vive en Caracas recuerdo que nunca me negué a aprender, era su pasatiempo favorito, la quiero mucho y me gustaba verla feliz, ella se ponía muy contenta con mi compañía.

I consider myself a person capable of achieving what I propose, although it is true that I am a man and this task is not common for us, I dared to experiment, I am not good at embroidering but I liked the result, of which I am proud, I think it was not so bad, it has details to correct but, it is the first time that I do a job of these and one of the few times that I take needle and thread, when I was little my grandmother taught me to knit clothes, I would have liked to go back to try but I needed a special needle and I don't have one, my grandmother lives in Caracas I remember that I never refused to learn, it was her favorite hobby, I love her very much and I liked to see her happy, she was very happy with my company.

Elegí crear este proyecto con la palabra OCD, como mencioné anteriormente en honor a esa comunidad, y es porque me sorprende el apoyo que nos brinda a todos, sin importar el contenido o el tiempo en la colmena, es admirable el proyecto que se han fijado, maravilloso, un estímulo para esas comunidades que nadie conoce, ahora también formo parte de la comunidad NeedleWork Monday. Agradezco a la comunidad de ODC por el apoyo que me han brindado con su voto de curación en una de mis primeras publicaciones, mi primera recompensa, soy nuevo en la plataforma y su ayuda me ha hecho sentir reconfortado, animado y que mi contenido es valorado.

I chose to create this project with the word OCD, as I mentioned earlier in honor of that community, and it is because I am amazed at the support it provides to all of us, regardless of the content or the time in the hive, the project that they have set is admirable , wonderful, a stimulus for those communities that nobody knows, now I am also part of the NeedleWork Monday community. I thank the ODC community for the support they have given me with their vote of curation in one of my first posts, my first reward, I am new to the platform and their help has made me feel comforted, encouraged and that my content is valued.

Proceso || Process

En cuanto al proceso, es sencillo y rápido.Primero cortamos un trozo de tela del tamaño de su elección, trazamos la palabra en la tela con un lápiz y luego insertamos el hilo en la aguja.

As for the process, it is simple and quick, first we cut a piece of fabric of the size of your choice, trace the word on the fabric with a pencil and then insert the thread into the needle.

Procedemos a bordar letra por letra, además de la palabra, aplique un borde de color rojo, elegí rojo y negro porque representan el logo de la comunidad odc, al final del bordado pegamos la tela al marco por la parte de atrás, usé algo de cinta. ¡Y listo!

We proceed to embroider letter by letter, in addition to the word, apply a red border, I chose red and black because they represent the odc community logo, at the end of the embroidery we glued the fabric to the frame from the back, I used some headband. And ready!
