Esta semana estaba pensando que quería realizar una blusa con hilo engomado siempre he querido, pero nunca me he atrevido porque siempre he pensado que sería algo difícil pero no es todo lo contrario.

This week I was thinking that I wanted to make a blouse with rubberized thread. I've always wanted to, but I've never dared because I've always thought it would be something difficult, but it's not quite the opposite.

Materiales a utilizar:
-Hilo elástico de coser.
-Tela en este caso debes utilizar una tela liviana yo utilice una llamada all buble.
-Tijeras.
-cinta Métrica.
-Máquina de coser casera y overlock.
-Hilo normal.

The materials to use:
-Elastic sewing thread.
-Fabric in this case you must use a light fabric and I used an all buble one.
-Scissors.
-measuring tape.
-Home sewing machine and overlock.
-Normal thread.

Antes de comenzar les cuento que me costó un poco entender cómo funcionaba, pero aclaro es porque nose en ese momento no me daba la cabeza y no entendía, pero es súper fácil el hilo elástico solo se utiliza en el carretel para coser por el interior de la tela, y para el frente de la tela utilizamos el color de hilo de nuestra preferencia.

Before I begin, I'll tell you that it took me a while to understand how it worked, but I'll clarify it's because I didn't know at that moment and I didn't understand it, but it's super easy. The elastic thread is only used on the spool to sew inside the the fabric, and for the front of the fabric we use the thread color of our preference.

Pasos a realizar/Steps to take:
1.Para comenzar debemos de medirnos nuestro busto y esa medida la multiplicaremos por 1.5 eso nos dará el ancho de nuestra blusa, para el largo yo la hice de 33cm de largo por que la quería corta.

1.To begin we must measure our bust and we will multiply that measurement by 1.5, that will give us the width of our blouse, for the length I made it 33cm long because I wanted it short.

2.Para los tirantes hice 4 tiras de 8 cm de ancho y 50cm de largo.

2. For the straps I made 4 strips of 8 cm wide and 50 cm long.

3.Luego de cortar toda la parte de nuestra blusa pasaremos a coserlas con overlock para que no se deshilachen lo que haremos es pasar la maquina por todo el rectángulo de la blusa, y en los tirantes.

3. After cutting the entire part of our blouse, we will sew them with overlock so that they do not fray. What we will do is pass the machine through the entire rectangle of the blouse, and on the straps.

4.Luego con la maquina casera en parte superior e inferior de nuestro rectángulo haremos un doblez y haremos una costura recta, eso para que no se vea la overlock y tenga mejor acabado.

4. Then with the homemade machine in the upper and lower part of our rectangle we will make a fold and we will make a straight seam, so that the overlock is not seen and has a better finish.

5.En la maquina casera debemos de cambiar el hilo del carretel por el hilo elástico, y comenzamos a coser sin estirar ni nada, cuando lleguemos al final de nuestra tela debemos dejar hilo no cortar justo en donde termine la costura si no dejar un poco para hacerle un nudito.

5.In the homemade machine we must change the spool thread for the elastic thread, and we begin to sew without stretching or anything, when we reach the end of our fabric we must leave thread, do not cut right where the seam ends but leave a little to make a knot.

Luego hacemos la segunda hilera yo lo hice a pie de máquina, pero ya es decisión tuya cuanto espacio dejas entre cada costura que vayas realizando, en este punto si debes estirar un poquito la tela.

Then we make the second row, I did it at the foot of the machine, but it is up to you how much space you leave between each seam you make, at this point if you should stretch the fabric a little.

En total yo hice 14 hileras de costuras, pero tú puedes hacer todas las que quieras lo importante aquí es que después de la segunda hilera estires y siempre cuando termines de coser dejar hilo y hacerle un nudito para asegurar la costura.

In total I made 14 rows of seams, but you can do as many as you want. The important thing here is that after the second row you stretch and always when you finish sewing leave thread and tie a knot to secure the seam.

6.Aquí vamos a doblar a la mitad nuestros tirantes siempre encontrando las dos caras del frente de la tela y cosemos, después le damos vueltas con un palito y listo.

6. Here we are going to fold our straps in half, always finding the two sides of the front of the fabric and we sew, then we turn it around with a stick and that's it.

7.Tenemos que cerrar nuestra blusa, yo la cosí con overlock y también le pase la maquina casera, esta costura quedara en la parte de atrás de nuestra blusa, para colocar los tirantes yo lo que hice fue buscar la mitad de mi blusa, y desde ahí medí 7cm a la derecha y 7cm a la izquierda, y cosí pasando la aguja varias veces para que estuvieran bien seguros.

7. We have to close our blouse, I sewed it with overlock and I also used the homemade machine, this seam will be in the back of our blouse, what I did was look for half of my blouse to place the straps, and from there I measured 7cm to the right and 7cm to the left, and sewed passing the needle several times so that they were very secure.
