I have started taking my knitting to a new level by recording and writing my own patterns. I've been making up my own things for years now but I've not done anything more than make one item for myself and then move on to the next thing. But now I'm going to start sharing my patterns with the world!

This is my favourite headband I've made because it actually is thinner underneath the hair. That way it doesn't cause that awkward hair bump at the back.
I would love to hear from all the knitters and crocheters on here. It's fab that these platforms allow us to connect in new ways. Do we have any Ravelry users on here? It would be great to connect up, maybe even share some of our favourite patterns.

I’ve used Ravelry a few times but my main go to for patterns and ideas is Pinterest. I keep saying I need to visit there more :)

Thank you so much! I really hope others can get as much enjoyment out of my knitting patterns as I did creating them. I keep trying to use Pinterest more because I think it is an amazing resource but I've not got the hang of it yet. I've been focusing on Instagram right now, quite proud I've managed to almost double my followers there in 4 months (still not a lot but little steps, also it's @theknitstitchwitch if anyone is interested)
