Greetings my dear and appreciated NeedleWorkMonday crafter and crocheter friends. It is a pleasure to greet you again and share with you a little of what I have been knitting.
I've been a bit bored today, as I haven't been able to make any progress on my big projects due to lack of material. As I have told you before, for several months now I have been buying my knitting materials through the Mercadolibre platform. The material is of very good quality and I really like the wide variety of colors offered by this seller. However, the biggest disadvantage is that the order takes too long to arrive in my city.
To avoid feeling anxious, I decided to resume my project on granny patterns. I mainly started with the idea of granny squares in different designs. But, lately I have seen other geometric shapes that are also knitted in the granny style. This time I decided to knit a granny triangle and a granny pentagon. Here are some pictures of the step by step.
These figures are woven in the same way as the basic granny square. The main difference lies in the base, i.e. in the first round. For example, to make a triangle we start with three groups of high stitches and work three corners. Likewise, to make a pentagon, we start with five groups of high stitches and work five corners. The following rounds are worked in the same way as with the traditional granny square.
Por ahora me despedido, deseándoles una linda noche.
Gracias por leer, saludos y bendiciones.
These two figures were knitted with only 4 rows, but you can knit as many rows as you need to obtain the desired size for any project. I worked both granny using different colors, but they also look very nice in one color.
I'll say goodbye for now, wishing you a nice evening.
Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
