Happy Needlepoint Monday. Today is a holiday. One more Monday to rest and be at home with the kids and now also with Milú. To spoil him a little bit, I decided to crochet a little mouse for him. I had started it on Friday. But since I didn't have to take the kids to school, I took the opportunity to finish it early in the morning.

When we have 18 low stitches in the circle, we make a second round without increases to make the neck and then a round with increases up to 24 stitches. Cuando tenemos 18 puntos bajos en el círculo, realizamos una segunda vuelta sin aumentos para hacer el cuello y luego una vuelta con aumentos hasta 24 puntos. En lo sucesivo realizamos 7 vueltas de 24 puntos y aumentamos a 30 puntos bajos. I made the ears with a magic ring of 6 stitches and one row with increases in the same shade of pink. Then I changed to gray and knit the third row of 18 single crochet stitches. The tail of the mouse is a wire lined with pink yarn. I had to give it two turns to give it a little more body. I glued the eyes and sewed some whiskers with transparent nylon. Realicé las orejas con un anillo mágico de 6 puntos y una vuelta con aumentos en el mismo tono rosa. Luego cambié a color gris y realicé la tercera vuelta de 18 puntos bajos. Para las patas tejí una cadena de 12 puntos y cada tres puntos una cadena. Así obtuve cuatro dedos. En la primera para que tejí tuve un error de cálculo que fue subsanado en las siguientes patitas. La cola del ratón es un alambre forrado con hilo rosa. Le tuve que dar dos vueltas para que tuviera un poquito más de cuerpo. Pegué los ojos y le cosí unos bigotes con nylon transparente.
