Greetings to the hive family today day I will show you how I cut and sew another fish tail gown, very simple and easy to cut.
Here I have my Ankara material, zip,, lining, Brest part, and my baby lace.
First thing to do is to fold my material by two to remove the down part of the gown for the front part after that I place the front part on the other side of the material with my two inches allowance for my zip, and then I measure out from the waist to the knee where the opening of the fish tail will start is twenty inches cut it out, and it's most not be twenty inches it depends on the person measurement from the waist to the knee.
Next I cut my upper side of the gown by sixteen inches for the back side and my hand pit by eight inches, my neck length by six inches and the wideness by five inches.
Then I proceeded to cut the front part of the gown by ten inches for the breast part and I remove six inches cause I will attaching the Ankara material at the top, using both the Ankara and the lace.
Then I cut out my breast part.
Then I cut out my hand using my Ankara by twenty two inches.
After that I cut out my lining for each part that is needed and I proceed to fix it.
This is the back side after the lining for both the upper and down
part of the gown.
And this is the front part of the gown and the back side join together.
After lining up everything I proceed to iron before joining them together, fix my zip and my hand and this is this is how it looks after sewing everything and putting it together.
Thank you for checking.
A quite interesting style. The gown is eye-catching. You did good.
