Cada vez que conozco más a mi país me causa una enorme alegría...Esto lo menciono varias veces "es como si recordara la memoria", como que todo tiene más lógica y voy desmintiendo lo que "nos contaron durante varios años".
Every time I get to know my country better, it brings me great joy... I mention this several times "it is as if I am remembering my memory", as if everything makes more sense and I am disproving what "we have been told for several years".
While I love to do more research on science (mainly plants in the field). Since a couple of years, I am also covering nutritious food, medicine and history.
We will talk about the latter today. Mamani is a very common surname in Bolivia and Peru. In the Quechua and Aymara languages it means "Falcon". And if we are observant, hawks are agile, fast, good vision, builders (characteristic of birds) and more skills.
If we go to the scientific side (by the way, in my opinion "scientific advances " are much slower than "ancestral knowledge " or "traditional knowledge ". Moreover, just on the topics I research, science leaves several gaps...), we have: Falco femoralis and Geranoaetus melanoleucus. The most popular is Falco femoralis.
I know that in this community there are several weavers from Latin America, so perhaps you can identify with this character "Mamani". I will tell you that my surname is also named after a bird.
