Crochet Pacha: Armando la estructura del Poncho_p2 || Making the structure of the poncho_p2

Las ganas que tengo de seguir aprendiendo la elaboración de prendas es mayor. Cada detalle es importante, porque será para el uso de una persona y eso me emociona un montón. Aquí también es clave el diseño (colores) y esctructura (tipos de puntadas) que llevará. Si bien disfruto diseñando, siento que cada cambio a incorporar debo aprender cómo hacerlo...Ese punto no lo había tomado en cuenta al momento de ponerme este reto, jaja. ¡Veámos cómo fue esto!.

My desire to continue learning how to make clothes is even greater. Every detail is important, because it will be worn by someone, and that excites me a lot. The design (colors) and structure (types of stitches) are also key here. Although I enjoy designing, I feel that I have to learn how to make each change I want to incorporate... I hadn't taken that into account when I set myself this challenge.

La vez pasada olvidé mencionar esta parte. Durante Pandemia, aprendí a tejer estos 6 tipos de Granny square. En ese momento me enteré que habían muchos más diseños, por eso los dejé así. Con el objetivo de que algún día adquirir revistas de crochet que tengan más diseños novedosos. Elegí el del la esquina superior izquierda, porque podía combinar con las figuras, entre cuadrado y flor.

Last time, I forgot to mention this part. During the pandemic, I learned how to crochet these 6 types of granny squares. At that time, I found out that there were many more designs, so I left it at that. With the objective of one day buying crochet magazines that have more innovative designs. I chose the one in the upper left corner because it could be combined with the figures, between square and flower.

Una vez con los Granny en mano, inicié a unirlos con medios punto alto. Una vez ví que los diseños de las chompas se iniciaba por el cuello. Por eso, decidí iniciar por el cuello. En mi mente estaba que sería de un cuello rojizo.

With the Granny squares in hand, I began to join them together with half double crochet stitches. Once I saw that the sweater designs started at the neck. So, I decided to start with the neck. In my mind, I had envisioned a reddish neckline.

Luego de unirlo con puntos medios altos. Me coloqué en el cuello para ver si estaba quedando bien y lo sentí como ancho. Mas aún, si continuaría agregando más Granny a esta estructura inicial. Por lo que tocó dejar de tejer para ver videos tutoriales por YouTube y cambiar la estructura.

After joining it with half double crochet stitches, I placed it around my neck to see if it fit well, and it felt too wide. What's more, I would continue adding more Granny squares to this initial structure. So I had to stop crocheting to watch tutorial videos on YouTube and change the structure.

Tal como lo pensé, a destejer y comenzar con nuevas ideas. Si bien los ponchos inician por el cuello, estos lo hacen solo con 2 aumentos o disminuciones o 2 esquinas como yo los llamo.

Just as I thought, to unweave and start with new ideas. Although ponchos start at the neck, they only do so with 2 increases or decreases, or 2 corners, as I call them.

También me dí cuenta que al armar el diseño me faltaban más granny de color negro. ¡A tejerlos!.

I also realized that when putting the design together, I was missing more black granny squares. Time to make.

Como no soy alta, creí que tejerme un poncho sería tamaño mini, jaja. Luego me dí cuenta que serían muchos más granny de color negro y en general. Para esto, ya tengo la estructura general en un papel cuadriculado, para tener una idea del número total de Granny a tejer...mas allá del orden de los colores. Solo sé que quiero que este poncho sea reluciente como una estrella (Chaska, Wara wara, Qoyllur).

Since I'm not tall, I thought weaving a poncho would be mini size, jaja. Then I realized it would take a lot more black granny squares and squares in general. For this, I already have the general structure on graph paper, to get an idea of the total number of Granny squares to make... beyond the order of the colors. I just know that I want this poncho to shine like a star (Chaska, Wara wara, Qoyllur).
