Navegando por la Internet me encontré con este diseño y tuve curiosidad por analizar la estructura de este lobo sentado. Si bien hay un patrón, seguí las instrucciones de un video tutorial donde la diseñadora complicatedknots teje en vivo su patrón de este lobito. Ella es de Australia, por lo que su Canal de YouTube está en inglés.
Surfing the internet I came across this design and I was curious to analyse the structure of this sitting wolf. Although there is a pattern, I followed the instructions of a video tutorial where the designer complicatedknots crocheted live her pattern of this little wolf. Para este lobito, utilicé un hilo 100% algodón de 4 hebras con un crochet de 1.75 mm. El tamaño final fue de 6 mm. Si bien este patrón lo tejí en 1.15 horas, tuve dudas en ponerle los ojos de seguridad de 5 ó 6 mm (izquierda y derecha). Decidí ponerle de 6 mm... Por lo general estos datos (tamaño final, tamaño de los ojos y grosor del crochet) varían porque los tipos de hilados son distintos a la diseñadora.
For this little wolf, I used a 4 strand 100% cotton yarn with a 1.75 mm crochet. The final size was 6 mm. Although I crocheted this pattern in 1.15 hours, I didn't know whether to use 5 or 6 mm safety eyes (left and right). I decided to use 6 mm...Usually these data (final size, eye size and crochet size) vary because the yarn types are different from the designer.
Este diseño es similar al caballo que tejí, aunque el caballo iniciaba por la nuca. Luego tocaba rellenar la cabeza, donde las arandelas de los ojos difucultaron este proceso. Por lo demás, todo bien.
This design is similar to the horse I crocheted, although the horse started at the nape of the neck. Then it was time to fill in the head, where the eye washers made this process difficult.
Me encuentro en unas de las partes más divertidas de elaborar muñecos tejidos, "el ensamblado" o unión de partes. Aquí me guié de la foto portada del lobito para que quedara lo más parecido posible. En esta parte sí recomiendo utilizar una bolsa para colocar las pequeñas piezas y evitar perderlas, sino sería para volverlas a tejer (ya me ha pasado, jaja).
I'm in one of the most fun parts of making crocheted dolls, ‘the assembly’ or joining of parts. Here I was guided by the cover picture of the little wolf to make it as similar as possible. In this part I do recommend using a bag to place the small pieces in to avoid losing them, otherwise you would have to crochet them again (it has already happened to me, jaja).
Los animalitos de 4 patas son especiales porque tienen distintas posiciones, como este lobito aullador. Además, se logra parar sin caerse. Como mide 6 cm, puede ser un amigo de un muñeco mediano o también como llaverito.

Es posible que lo vuelta a tejer, aunque esta vez le pondré ojitos de 5 mm. Me parece que puede mejorar su mirada y otra opción sería tejerlo con hilado acrílico, para que se estire más y sea un lobo rechonchito o una loba preñada.
I might crochet him again, but this time I'll use 5 mm eyes. I think it might improve his look and another option would be to crochet him with acrylic yarn, so that he stretches more and becomes a chubby wolf or a pregnant wolf.
