Estas semanas estaba full testeo, jaja. En cada patrón siento que aprendo bastante de cada diseñadora. Y mejor aún si la tengo cerca para preguntarle cualquier duda. Esta experiencia es maravillosa.

I've been testing a lot these weeks, haha. In each pattern I feel that I learn a lot from each designer. And even better if I have her close by to ask her any questions. This experience is amazing.

Cuando Lyra de Lyralunedesigns publicó que quería Testers para su nuevo diseño de honguitos, postulé de inmediato. Ella nos dió libertad en cuanto a los colores. Al inicio quise tejerlo en una gama de marrones a crema, para que sea el hongo "Pleurotus ostreatus".

When Lyra from Lyralunedesigns posted that she wanted Testers for her new mushroom design, I applied immediately. She gave us freedom in terms of colours. At first I wanted to weave it in a range of browns to cream, to be the "Pleurotus ostreatus " mushroom.

Luego cambié de opinión y tejí un hongo con tonos celestes. La base es amarillo pajizo, la cual simula el lugar donde se encuentra este tipo de hongos, es decir en la hojarrasca (hojas secas) alimentándose de materia en descomposición (feliz como todo hongo, jaja).

Then I changed my mind and knitted a mushroom with light blue tones. The base is yellow, which simulates the place where this type of fungus is found, that is, in the leaf litter (dry leaves) feeding on decomposing matter (happy as any fungus, haha).

Este diseño de honguito hizo que la técnica "Tapestry" sea divertida. También aprendí el "nudo francés" para el bordado del sombrero. Esta vez sí le bordé la boca, para que sonría diciendo ¡Aquí estoy!.

This mushroom design made the "Tapestry" technique fun. I also learned the "French knot" for the embroidery of the hat. This time I embroidered the mouth, so that he smiles and says "Here I am!.
