Short de Dama deportivo // Sporty lady shorts

Debo de confesar que no tengo mucha experiencia con la costura, lo que se es porque lo he aprendido de forma autodidacta y complementado con vídeos de youtube,por ello los patrones que he utilizado los obtuve de algunos short de uso personal y realmente no me fue nada mal.

I must confess that I do not have much experience with sewing, which I know is because I have learned it in a self-taught way and complemented with YouTube videos, so the patterns that I have used I got from some shorts for personal use and it really did not work for me. nothing bad.

Ya luego de haber trazado los patrones, debí trasladarlos a la tela, que en este caso utilice tela atlética color negro, fije los moldes con alfileres y procedí a cotar, cada patrón 2 veces.

After having traced the patterns, I had to transfer them to the fabric, which in this case used black athletic fabric, fixed the molds with pins and proceeded to measure, each pattern 2 times.

Luego de obtener 4 piezas de tela, proceso a coser, unido delantero con delantero y espalda con espalda, esta primera costura la realice en el lado del tiro (es decir donde se encuentra la curva). Obteniendo de este modo, dos piezas, para luego coser la entrepierna, uniendo esta vez la parte interior de ambos lados como se muestra en la segunda imagen.

After obtaining 4 pieces of fabric, process to be sewn, joined front to front and back to back, this first seam is made on the side of the shot (that is, where the curve is). Obtaining in this way, two pieces, to then sew the crotch, this time joining the inside of both sides as shown in the second image.

Seguidamente procedo a colocar el sesgo, por lo que he observado existen diversas formas de colocar el mismo, por mi parte y por ser de algún modo más fácil para mi, lo realizo del siguiente modo. Coloco ambas telas al contrario, y de ese modo trazo la primera costura por todo el lateral de lo que sera el short, hasta la parte posterior.

Then I proceed to place the bias, from what I have observed there are different ways to place it, for my part and because it is somewhat easier for me, I do it as follows. I place both fabrics on the opposite, and in this way I trace the first seam along the entire side of what will be the short, to the back.

Procedo ahora a llevar el sesgo hacia el frente, para ello debo doblar la tela del sesgo hasta la mitad y luego pasarlo al frente. Pueden observar mejor este proceso en la imagen siguiente.

I now proceed to bring the bias to the front, for this I have to fold the bias fabric halfway and then pass it to the front. You can better observe this process in the following image.

El paso anterior se repite en el otro lateral. Luego que se halla cosido ambos lados el resultado debe ser parecido al siguiente:

A continuación procedemos a juntar los lados de nuestro short para ello solo basta montar cada lado, sobre el contrario y realizar la costura.

Next, we proceed to join the sides of our shorts, for this, it is enough to mount each side, on the opposite side and make the seam.

El paso final es ubicar la cinta elástica, para ello vamos a juntar las dos orillas y fijamos con una costura simple. Luego vamos a la parte superior de short y lo ubicamos en este punto. El primero costura ira en la orilla, vale acotar que a medida que estemos cociendo, debemos ir estirando la cinta, esta ira encogiendo la tela, lo que nos permitirá que obtengamos la forma correcta del short. Seguido de este paso, vamos a generar unos nuevo dobles, esta vez para cubrir la cinta, estiramos y realizamos la costura y de este modo tenemos listo nuestro short.

The final step is to place the elastic tape, for this we are going to join the two edges and fix with a simple seam. Then we go to the upper part of shorts and we place it at this point. The first seam will go on the edge, it is worth noting that as we are cooking, we must stretch the tape, this will shrink the fabric, which will allow us to obtain the correct shape of the short. Following this step, we are going to generate new doubles, this time to cover the tape, stretch and sew and in this way we have our shorts ready.

En lo particular me gustan los short que llevan costuras en el medio de la cinta elástica, así que a este decidí realizársela, pero no es un paso obligatorio.

In particular, I like shorts that have seams in the middle of the elastic band, so I decided to do it for this one, but it is not a mandatory step.
