¡Hola amigos de hive, bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog!
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes uno de mis últimos proyectos, es un short deportivo para caballero, el cual realice para mi hermano, a quien siempre le gusta vestir cómodo y deportivo.
Today I want to share with you one of my latest projects, it is a sports shorts for men, which I make for my brother, who always likes to dress comfortable and sporty.
Existen diferentes modelos de sport deportivo, el que él deseaba debía asemejarse al estilo de los uniformes de baloncesto, por ende el modelo seria lo suficientemente ancho y largo, y en cuento a la tela debía buscar también un estilo que se asemejara a todo esto, pensé que este ultimo detalle seria difícil, pero realmente encontré diversidad de tela para este proyecto.
There are different models of sport sports, the one he wanted should resemble the style of basketball uniforms, therefore the model would be wide and long enough, and in terms of the fabric he should also look for a style that resembles all this, I thought that this last detail would be difficult, but I really found diversity of fabric for this project.
Sin más preámbulo, les comento cuales han sido los materiales que he utilizado y por su puesto cual ha sido el procedo de creación de este proyecto. // Without further ado, I will tell you about the materials that I have used and of course what the process of creating this project has been.
Materiales:
- 1 m de tela de su preferencia (yo en particular utilice una llamada atlética)
- Cinta elástica
- Tijera, agujas, hilos.
Materials:

- Elastic band
- Scissors, needles, threads.
Proceso // Process
Lo primero que realice fueron los patrones, para ello utilice como modelo un short del propio uso de mi hermano, así poco a poco fui construyendo los moldes, algo que fue realmente sencillo. Luego de ello solo bastaba tomar los patrones y trasferirlos a la tela y hacer los cortes respectivos.
The first thing I made were the patterns, for this I used a short of my brother's own use as a model, so little by little I built the molds, something that was really simple. After that, it was only enough to take the patterns and transfer them to the fabric and make the respective cuts.
Luego de ello, paso a la maquina de coser, para realizar las primeras costuras, comenzando por unir las dos piezas del delantero y luego las dos de la espalda.
After that, I go to the sewing machine, to make the first seams, starting by joining the two pieces on the front and then the two on the back.
Seguidamente, toco coser el lado de la entre pierna para ello, solo basto con colocar ambos lados de la tela por el lado derecho, a fin de coser por lo que sera el interior. Después utilice dos tiras de tela en este caso blancas, para los laterales (a fin de darle un toque diferente), estas las uní a cada lado del short tanto delantero como espalda; así comencé a verle forma al short, ya solo bastaba colocar la goma en la cintura para tener casi listo este proyecto.
Next, I have to sew the side of the crotch for this, it is enough to place both sides of the fabric on the right side, in order to sew what will be the interior. Then I used two strips of fabric, in this case white, for the sides (in order to give it a different touch), I attached these to each side of the shorts, both front and back; That's how I began to see the shape of the shorts, it was only enough to place the rubber band on the waist to have this project almost ready.
Ahora es el punto de incorporar la cinta elastica al short para ello utilice un trozo de 68cm, uniendo ambas puntas con una costura doble, y para que sea más fácil de cierta forma coserlo al short, marco la goma en cada cuarta parte (pueden observar este proceso en la siguientes imagenes).
Now is the point of incorporating the elastic tape to the shorts, for this use a 68cm piece, joining both ends with a double seam, and to make it easier in a certain way to sew it to the shorts, I mark the elastic in every quarter (you can see this process in the following images).
Para coser la cinta elástica al short utilizo las marcas de referencias que había realizado anteriormente, estas van en cada cuarta parte del short, solo que a medida que toca realizar la costura hay que ir estirando. Para finalizar solo basta con cubrirla cinta elastica doblando la tela y realizando una última costura.
To sew the elastic band to the shorts, I use the reference marks that I had previously made, these go in every quarter of the shorts, only that as it is time to sew, you have to stretch. To finish, it is enough to cover the elastic tape by folding the fabric and making a last seam.

Me gusta mucho, siempre estoy en internet buscando como se colocan las elásticas a la tela. Es por eso que aún no me animo a hacer este tipo de pieza de ropa.😅
