THE INSPIRATION THE RECREATION VI: THE FLOWERY DRESS.

Hello wonderful people of needle work Monday and welcome to yet again another episode on the inspiration the recreation. In my transition to adulthood I have many regrets not for the decision I made, but for the ones I did not make while growing. But sewing isn’t one of them. As a matter of fact, sewing has taught me what I would call my most valuable lesson in life.

When I watch a piece of fabric come to life and become something so beautiful It reminds me that to make my dreams come true, all I need is the willingness to do so. Before I learnt how to sew, I would see people wear flowery dress and be like wow the designer must be a magician to bring to life something so gorgeous. And now, looking at every dress I have perfected I too feel like one. Not just sewing, but I know for certain, that every vision I have I can bring it all to life. Today I can decide to teach you a dress or share with you a great moral lesson that such a simples dress taught me, you too can do It.

I remember when I first started sewing so many discouragement but i kept pushing. I remember when the needle had hurt me really badly and I was advice to take a break. Sometimes life gets tough and we experience set back that make us want to sit back but today this is my entry for this week an encouragement for you, to encourage everyone with dreams that your dream are valid and they are possible.

ALL I USED IN THE RECREATION OF THIS DRESS ARE;

• Two yards of vintage fabric
• A yard of lining
• Matching thread
• Elastic for the sleeves
• A pattern paper
• Curve rule

• Nipple to nipple (for your dart)
