Hello, today I bring you the mold of a children's T-shirt with Japanese sleeves, the sizes range from 1 year to 14 years, with the colors that identify them. The great thing about this mold is that you don't need a lot of fabric or a lot of trimmings.
In the front mold, the measurement that is in the pen is repeated in all sizes.
The same thing happens in the rear mold.
This is how the mold would look once cut. Remember to leave 1.0 cm for the seam allowance. Now we go to the making of the garment.
The first thing we are going to do is sew one of the front shoulders with one of the back.
It has to be like this, as seen in the image.
Then, we are going to sew the neck, for this what you can do is: fold all the contour and sew it with the sewing machine, or you can also cut a fabric with the measurement of the neck and sew it.
Once they have the neck ready, they close the other shoulder and sew one of the sides. In this case I sewed both sides.
When I'm done doing that, fold the entire edge of the sleeve and hem it, the same with the bottom of the shirt. They can also sew the hemlines of the sleeves before closing the sides, then close one side, make the hem and finally close the other side.
And so they have a children's shirt with Japanese sleeves, this image corresponds to a shirt for 1 year.
